So many of us in this industry live our lives as though we are indestructible. While the industry as a whole has made some progress in regards to sexism, unfortunately there is still a long ways to go in regards to achieving true equity. One does not have to look very hard to find instances of overt sexist language in popular spirits publications or even demeaning imagery in the marketing of whiskey itself.
