Commission, commitment, and companionship. These three words summarize how we, as beneficiaries of the co-workers’ fellowship, can rise up to respond to the Lord’s burden for our generation. There are many obstacles that hinder us from having a vital living, and we often try to overcome them by ourselves, only to fail. The secret is to face the obstacles together -  by praying together, fellowshipping together, researching the ministry together, and addressing them together - so that we can enter into a vital living. This week, brother Minoru shares further from Peter’s words a comprehensive antidote to such a condition. God has provided everything we need to live a fruitful life in His kingdom. The way we view ourselves dictates our actions and behavior. Therefore, we need an uplifted view, the divine view, to see that as working saints we should be the core of the church. If we realize this, we will take the lead to pick up the burdens of the church, and the whole church will benefit. In the book of Numbers, God asked Moses to number His people according to their age. In particular, God charged a specific group of Levites “to do the work of service and the work of bearing burdens in the Tent of Meeting (4:47).” Although these age groups are Old Testament types and not to be applied literally in the New Testament, we can apply their spiritual principles to the church life today.
