In the book of Numbers, God numbered the Levites who could enter into the service of the Tent of Meeting. These ones had the privilege to directly handle the holy things of the tabernacle for God’s testimony and move. Today, we have the opportunity to bear the same burden for the church. We have an enemy who does not want our heart to be available to the Lord. Rather than attacking us directly, the enemy causes thorns to grow up alongside the Word that has been sown in our heart. The parable of the sower reveals that God’s economy is carried out by the Triune God as a man, the Lord Jesus, sowing Himself as the word into our heart.
