Being Numbered (2) | Related to the Lord’s Testimony
In the book of Numbers, God numbered the Levites who could enter into the service of the Tent of Meeting. These ones had the privilege to directly handle the holy things of the tabernacle for God’s testimony and move. Today, we have the opportunity to bear the same burden for the church.
Today’s episode continues the series entitled, “Being Numbered,” with excerpts taken from a time of fellowship in Anaheim, CA in April 2009. In this episode, brother Minoru Chen wants us to see that the burden of the church is already on our shoulders, and that we must rise up to do the actual work of building the church.

Being Numbered (1) | Related to Consecration
In each of the three Old Testament books of Exodus (ch. 30), Leviticus (ch. 27), and Numbers (ch. 4), God’s numbering of His people is mentioned. While each record of numbering has a different perspective and emphasis, they all have much to do with our spiritual experiences today.
This episode begins a new series entitled, “Being Numbered,” with excerpts taken from a time of fellowship in Anaheim, CA in April 2009. In this episode, brother Minoru Chen expounds the numbering in Exodus which was based on redemption and the numbering in Leviticus which was based on consecration.

Preaching the Gospel (3) | Companions
Matthew 18 reveals that the church life is practiced in reality in the two’s and three’s. It is possible for us to be involved in many services in the church without having a companion with whom we pray and open up our hearts.
This episode concludes our series on “Preaching the Gospel,” with excerpts taken from a time of fellowship in Anaheim, CA on January 7th, 2009. In this episode, brother Andrew Yu urges each of us to find a companion to pray with every week for our revival, daily living, functioning, and practice of the God-ordained way.

Preaching the Gospel (2) | Exercising to Preach the Gospel
John 15:4 and 11 say, “I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit….These things I have spoken to you that My joy may be in you and that your joy may be made full.” These verses show us that when we preach the gospel and lead others to salvation, our joy is made full.
This episode continues the series entitled, “Preaching the Gospel,” with excerpts taken from a time of fellowship in Anaheim, CA on January 7th, 2009. In this episode, brothers Benson Phillips and Andrew Yu share their burden for our exercise to preach the gospel in a regular way.

Shepherding Words (2) | The Relationship between Living Stream Ministry and the Local Churches
Finally, be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the stratagems of the devil, For our wrestling is not against blood and flesh but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenlies. Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:10-13.
As believers who love the Lord and who are standing for His testimony, we must not be ignorant of the schemes of God’s enemy in his attacks on the church. In order to help educate and inoculate us against such attacks, the co-workers in North America have released a series of articles on ShepherdingWords.com, which expose the stratagems of the devil.
This week, we have a narration of the article entitled “The Relationship between Living Stream Ministry and the Local Churches,” originally released on October 26, 2020. Based on principles established in the Bible, this article clearly defines the role of Living Stream Ministry in its relationship to the churches. It also addresses the false accusation that Living Stream Ministry controls the churches.
May the Lord supply us through this speaking and equip us to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

This episode begins a new series entitled, “Preaching the Gospel,” with excerpts taken from a time of fellowship in Anaheim, CA on January 7th, 2009. In this episode, brother Benson Phillips speaks on twelve points for our living an overcoming life.

Our Heart (2) | Anxiety, Riches, Pleasures
We have an enemy who does not want our heart to be available to the Lord. Rather than attacking us directly, the enemy causes thorns to grow up alongside the Word that has been sown in our heart.
Today we continue the series entitled “Our Heart,” with excerpts taken from a time of fellowship with brother Ron Kangas in Anaheim, CA on January 14th, 2009. In this episode our brother expounds three categories of thorns: the anxiety of the age, the deceitfulness of riches, and the pleasures of this life, and emphasizes the importance of our exercise to turn our heart to the Lord every morning so He can make His home in our heart.

Our Heart (1) | Having A Heart Without Thorns
The parable of the sower reveals that God’s economy is carried out by the Triune God as a man, the Lord Jesus, sowing Himself as the word into our heart. In each account as recorded in Matthew, Mark and Luke, thorns are mentioned. These thorns signify the anxiety of the age, the deceitfulness of riches, and the pleasures of this life, all of which utterly choke the word, preventing it from growing in our heart and bearing fruit.
In this episode, we begin a new series entitled “Our Heart,” with excerpts taken from a time of fellowship with brother Ron Kangas in Anaheim, CA on January 14th, 2009. In this message entitled “Having a Heart Without Thorns,” brother Ron expounds on the different categories of thorns, and describes how the Lord deals with them in our heart.

Our Existence (3) | The Constraining Love of Christ
“For the love of Christ constrains us,” was the Apostle Paul’s testimony of the powerful mighty tide that energized and motivated him to live to Christ (2 Cor. 5:14). It is this same positive love that must be activated in us in order for us to overcome all the negative loves in the present age and live for the Lord’s appearing (2 Tim. 4:8).
In this episode, we conclude the series entitled “Our Existence,” with excerpts taken from a time of fellowship given by brother Ron Kangas to the young adults in San Francisco on December 6, 2008. Brother Ron completes his fellowship concerning God’s will and God’s purpose with the matter of loving God and living to Him.
