Join us as we delve into the world of investing, the significance of a long-term mindset, and the magical power of compounding. Andrew shares his experience juggling multiple side hustles and building bridges that all lead to the same path, offering valuable insights for those interested in real estate and other investments. Towards the end of our conversation, Andrew talks about effective time management, the importance of delegation, and how he has transferred his skills from project management to real estate investing. Finally, we round off the episode with a discussion on connecting through social media, with Andrew encouraging listeners to reach out to him for more information on investing. Listen in and get inspired to take the first step towards financial success! ANDREW'S BIO: Andrew started off on the W2 track as a project manager and ascended through the corporate ladder from company to company, always looking for the next higher paying job. Then after reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, he came to the realization that the rat race is a 30–40-year journey which seems like an eternity. Why not take the leap and try for financial freedom in the next 10 years? Worst case, he can just go back to the workforce and take the traditional retirement path to 65. After that epiphany, he was determined to take action. He obtained a home line of credit (HELOC) on my one-bedroom condo in Boston and bought 10 deals over the course of 3 years; he purchased four 3 families, one 5 unit, two 6 units, and joined 2 apartment building syndications as a limited partner, one in Lowell MA and the other in Phoenix AZ. He also syndicated a 65 unit portfolio in New Bedford MA as a GP. Currently, he self manages 24 rental units and owns 95 units. He obtained a majority of my units through househacking, syndicating and accessing liquidity through lines of credit. He has a passion for teaching others about the power of real estate investing and financial literacy. His ultimate goal is to travel the world and help thousands of others achieve financial freedom through real estate investing. Capacity | Friday Rant with Austin Linney | Construct your Life #573

EPISODE SUMMARY: What if the only thing standing between you and your wildest dreams is your self-imposed limitations? What if, by just stretching your capacity and elevating your goals, you could achieve far more than you ever imagined? This episode is all about understanding the concepts of capacity, time, space, and their intersection in our personal and business realms. I, Austin Linney, share insights from my experiences and from a thought-provoking book titled "10X is easier than 2X", reinforcing the idea that massive growth often comes when we dare to step outside our comfort zones. We tackle the paradox of tripling our team size and still being just as busy, stirring up the question of business growth and team expansion. We talk about motivation - the invisible force that helps us achieve seemingly impossible tasks. I challenge you, yes you, to aim for a higher goal, to push beyond your boundaries, and to believe in your potential for more. Instead of losing 10 pounds, go for 20. Instead of earning $100K, aim for $250K. It's all about expanding your capacity, and realizing that often, you are far more capable than you give yourself credit for.
