I have two guests this week on the podcast... Rachel runs the Etsy shop and we are joined by Parker her little 4-month old baby boy. Rachel has been selling on Etsy since 2008 so she's quite the veteran and she is also very heavily involved in craft fairs so we dive deep into a conversation about craft fairs. I loved talking to Frankie because I thought her Etsy story was funny... She opened up her Etsy shop - - as a hobby in November 2013 with the goal of making 50 sales and by the end of her first year she had made over 300 sales... That's about a sale a day for the entire year! Naturally, I was curious to find out how all this went down and Frankie shares very openly in our convo just how it all happened. Brooke runs the Etsy shop Sucre Shop where she sells hand-printed wooden utensils and party supplies. As you'll hear in my discussion with Brooke we go into very great detail about Etsy wholesale as well vendor shows. That's because Brooke is part of Etsy wholesale and was willing to share as much as possible about how the whole process works. Jessica is my guest this week and she runs the very successful Etsy shop . She not only sells to individual customers on Etsy she also sells wholesale on Etsy and she shares a wealth of knowledge about what that entails and how that has helped her grow, not just her Etsy business, but really her creative business. Jessica studied art and design but interestingly enough she didn't start out on Etsy selling her own creations, she started off selling vintage clothing. In our conversation she talks about her thought processes behind switching her product line from vintage clothing to illustrated and screen-printed items and why she's decided to focus even more specifically on items fro children and babies. We're in France this week! :) Talk about inspirational... Sophia is my guest this week and she runs the Etsy shop where she sells her original fine art photography prints. So why is her story so inspiring you might ask...? Well, you know how some of us at some point or another have dreamed of just quitting a job and following our dreams and passions? She did it!
