071 - On The Round | Etsy | Arts & Crafts | DIY | Ecommerce | Handmade | Crafting | Online Shopping | Entrepreneur Interviews | Internet Business | Online Business

I have two guests this week on the podcast... Rachel runs the Etsy shop and we are joined by Parker her little 4-month old baby boy. Rachel has been selling on Etsy since 2008 so she's quite the veteran and she is also very heavily involved in craft fairs so we dive deep into a conversation about craft fairs. If you're still a bit confused about the world of craft fairs and just how to get started in them, or if you're lost and wondering how to maneuver and navigate the world of craft fairs then you'll find this conversation very eye-opening. Rachel is a work at home mom (WAHM) and she makes her full-time living making and selling hand-dyed artisan hand-spun and mill-spun yarn and fiber. So with three kids, a husband, a dog and chickens to boot, Rachel knows a thing or two about time management and she shares her own tips on how she handles it all. Listen to Rachel's inspiring story and feel free to reach out to her or leave a comment down below in the comments section. I loved talking to Frankie because I thought her Etsy story was funny... She opened up her Etsy shop - - as a hobby in November 2013 with the goal of making 50 sales and by the end of her first year she had made over 300 sales... That's about a sale a day for the entire year! Naturally, I was curious to find out how all this went down and Frankie shares very openly in our convo just how it all happened. Frankie is based in Chicago and juggles her time between a demanding day job and selling on Etsy (which serves as a creative outlet for her). We talk all about time management and much more. When it comes to community we're talking Etsy teams! Frankie is captain of the on Etsy and she gives some insight into the purpose of the group and how being a part of that team has helped increase sales in her Etsy shop. Do you understand your customers? Have you studied their behavior? Frankie does, and she has and we talk about how learning this information has helped her be a better seller.
