Episode #69: AmpCoil with Aaron and Geneva Bigelow

Why You Should Listen: In this episode, you will learn about the delivery of frequency and vibration in support of optimizing health with the use of the AmpCoil. About My Guests: My guests for this episode are Aaron and Geneva Bigelow. When Aaron and Geneva Bigelow started their healing journey 12 years ago, they believed Lyme disease was going to be part of their lives forever. Having both worked for many years in the biotech industry, they’d tried biofeedback, PEMF and bioresonance technology, but weren’t getting sustainable results. They eventually found a solution that eliminated forever the devastating effects of Lyme disease. That is when the AmpCoil was born. They used an early prototype to help their family get their lives back, but knew deeply that the mission was much greater than their own family’s wellness because so many people were suffering. They tried everything to get their lives back. There were moments when Aaron couldn't get out of bed. Then he’d hear of the next great thing - feel better for a short time, but soon relapse again. One of those things was high-grade ozone therapy. Traveling to Tijuana, Mexico every day for months, he witnessed people in the waiting room close to death and hundreds of people crossing the border seeking hope on their journey to wellness. In that moment, Aaron began to feel gratitude for his journey, knowing it must lead to a greater story. He kept his hope alive this way. During Aaron’s health crisis, Geneva developed left-sided paralysis and migraines, also due to Lyme and co-infections, and was pregnant with their second daughter. Neither of them could work. The turning point came when they hit bottom. Geneva was nine months pregnant and standing in the welfare line waiting for food stamps, then they were to spend the night at a homeless shelter. At this point, they’d spent over $200,000 on treatments and accrued $100,000 in unpaid medical bills. They were also watching their eldest daughter have regular seizures as she too battled with Lyme. Aaron remembers thinking, “you may be able to take one of us, but you won’t take our daughter.” They needed a miracle. Today they’re symptom free. As founders of AmpCoil, life is eventful. The Bigelows, along with the entire AmpCoil team, credit their success so far to their own journey to wellness using the technology. Many members of the team used the AmpCoil device to get on the other side of Lyme, severe autoimmune conditions, and other illnesses, and today they are passionate about sharing their stories. Aaron says, “It’s always the deep transformations that we needed to go through that propel us forward in life and often something profound is born out of those experiences.” In this case, it was the AmpCoil. Key Takeaways: How does frequency impact our biology and support shifting of the terrain to a more balanced state? When might frequency have an edge over taking things orally? How is the AmpCoil different from Rife therapy? How is health like a fish tank? What are the technologies that were combined to create the AmpCoil? What is "cleanse, shift, and transform"? What is an AmpCoil journey? What is the experience of having a session in the AmpCoil? How frequently and for what duration is the device used? What is the Herx Help journey? How long does it generally take for people to start to feel a shift? What is the role of parasites in chronic Lyme disease? What were some of the recent statistics in terms of symptom improvement with the use of the AmpCoil? What are the contraindications? Can the system be used by those that are EMF-sensitive? Do we need to become ready for a new story in order to optimize our health? Episode #63: Mycoplasma with Dr. Garth Nicolson, PhD

Why You Should Listen: In this episode, you will learn about Mycoplasma and its role in chronic health challenges. About My Guest: My guest for this episode is Dr. Garth Nicolson. Garth L. Nicolson, PhD, MD(H) is the founder of The Institute for Molecular Medicine at California, and he serves as the President, Chief Scientific Officer, and Emeritus Professor of Molecular Pathology. He is Conjoint Professor in the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Newcastle, Australia. During the outbreak of the Gulf War syndrome, he was the leading authority on the study of the cause, treatment and prevention of the disease. He was appointed Chairman of the Medical-Scientific Panel for the Persian Gulf War Veterans Conference. On suspicion of the bacterium that caused the disease as a product of biological warfare, he made extensive scientific investigations and served as authority to the United States House of Representatives. For his service he was conferred honorary Colonel of the US Army Special Forces and honorary US Navy SEAL. With S.J. Singer, Nicolson published a paper titled "The fluid mosaic model of the structure of cell membranes" in 1972, which is now regarded as a classic paper in cell biology. With over 600 scientific papers, the majority of Nicolson's research is in cancer biology and cellular properties related to aging. He had invented a number of techniques in the study of cancer, and has five US patents. He was a Nobel Prize nominee in Cell Microbiology. In 2003 he introduced the practice of lipid replacement therapy into a scientific concept. He observed that the therapy had anti-aging effects, restorative potential for chronic muscle weakness (fatigue), and was beneficial to patients undergoing cancer treatments. Nicolson found that at the cellular and molecular levels the actual replacement of damaged cellular lipids with undamaged lipids helped to maintain proper structure and function of cellular structures, mainly cell membrane and organelle membranes (especially those of mitochondria), and this is important for maintaining stable cellular functions. Key Takeaways: What is Mycoplasma? What are some key symptoms and conditions associated with Mycoplasma? What is the role of Mycoplasma in Gulf-War Syndrome? What are the different types of Mycoplasma? How is Mycoplasma transmitted? What is the best way to test for Mycoplasma? Is it best treated with antibiotics or with natural options? Is Mycoplasma the kingpin in Lyme disease? How might lipid replacement therapy be helpful in recovering from chronic illness? Episode #60: Borrelia Research with Dr. Eva Sapi, PhD

Why You Should Listen: In this episode, you will learn about ongoing Borrelia research underway at University of New Haven. About My Guest: My guest for this episode is Dr. Eva Sapi. Dr. Eva Sapi, PhD is a Professor and Department Chair at the Department of Biology and Environmental Science at University of New Haven where she teaches undergraduate and graduate biology courses and carries out Lyme disease research with her graduate students. She is the Director of their Lyme Disease Program. Dr. Sapi graduated with a M.S. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest, Hungary in 1987. She received her PhD in 1995. Her research interest is to investigate the different forms of Borrelia burgdorferi to better understand how Borrelia can hide from the immune system as well as from antimicrobial therapies. Her recent research shows that Borrelia burgdorferi is capable of forming a protective layer around itself called biofilm which could render it to be very resistant to antibiotics and provide a logical explanation as to why extensive antibiotic treatment for patients with a tick-bite history could fail. The goal of her research group is to fully characterize this novel form and to identify novel antibacterial agents that are effective in killing all forms of Borrelia burgdorferi. Dr. Sapi organized and chaired six Lyme Disease Symposiums at the University of New Haven during the last several years. Her research interests include Lyme disease, pathogenic biofilm, antibiotic resistance, and the different morphological forms of Borrelia burgdorferi. Key Takeaways: What is the difference between in vitro and in vivo studies? What role does Borrelia play in neurological diseases? Are biofilms an explanation for persistence of Lyme disease despite treatment? What are Borrelia persisters? What was observed with Samento and Banderol when tested against Borrelia? Can stevia be a helpful tool in dealing with biofilms? Is persistence of symptoms after treatment an autoimmune condition or a persistence of infection? How is the Borrelia culture different from immune-based testing? What did research show in terms of potential use of CBD in Lyme? Does bee venom therapy appear to be a viable treatment option for Lyme disease? What work is being done to better understand Morgellons?
