I took a month off and now I'm back with an amazing guest! Gabrielle Alvarez is one of the most inspiring makeup artists I know. Her work is instantly recognisable for her sheer love of colour and a passion for working with all skin tones. Gabi was my guest back in May 2021, so, as you can imagine, we had a lot to catch up on. In this episode Gabi and I discuss labels and trends – we touch on the whole Youthforia black pigment in a bottle controversy and she’s also the first person to record my new segment: The Final Five. The Final Five is where I hand over the show to my guest as their opportunity to talk about anything they want, anything that’s important to them or something that’s on their mind. Gabi’s chosen subject was AI in the beauty industry.
