Research from University of Glasgow shows that 85% of people with type two diabetes who lose 15kg may be able to revers/cure the condition. This is great news and shows what is possible when you take control of your health.

The human body is 70% water and has no need for sugar sweetened beverages. Consumed occasionally it is not a problem but new work shows that as little as two cans a week is not good for our health

An analysis of just under 8000 people showed that those with a pet had lower rates of mental decline than those without a pet. In particular, owning a pet offsets the negative impact of isolation.

It has been downhill all the way in terms of overweight, obesity and type two diabetes since the introduction of low fat dietary guidelines in the early 1980’s. The next Australian version will no longer even pretend to be about the nutrition the human body needs. The minister says, “trust the experts”. Can you?
