#10 'The promise of life in the face of death' (Peter Maiden, 2011)
2 Timothy 1. As many will now know, Peter Maiden, the former Chairman and a dear friend of the Convention, went to be with the Lord last week on July 14th. Peter had a hugely significant role in the life of Keswick Ministries, and indeed in this podcast – in his final months Peter actually helped to select the talks for Kes Talks, and came up with the phrase ‘talks for our times from the Keswick Convention’ - so it feels very appropriate that this podcast is one of his sermons. This episode shares the first of a series of Bible Readings he gave from 2 Timothy in 2011. Very fittingly, the title of his sermon was “the promise of life in the face of death”.
