212: Loving People, Life by Life - with Becca Stevens
This week I am sitting down with an incredible woman, Becca Stevens, who is doing some world changing work in this world. Becca Stevens is the visionary behind Thistle Farms, a nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to helping women survivors recover and heal from prostitution, trafficking, and addiction. We do this by providing a safe place to live, a meaningful job, and a lifelong sisterhood of support. After experiencing the death of her father and subsequent child abuse when she was 5, Becca Stevens longed to open a sanctuary for survivors offering a loving community. Her humility and mission is inspiring, and its a lesson for all of us to see that helping one person at a time can change the world around us.--Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? 211: RESILIENCE | Part 2: Understanding Your Power
Wow, you guys, your response to Part 1 of this Resilience series was incredible and I am so excited to bring you a Part 2 this week. Last week I talked about this first step, the first thing we need when we're thinking about resilience, which is the ability to bounce back. How to make peace with what is, the good and the bad, and that is all about Mindset. This week is all about power. How to apply a new perspective to your past, to all the things you've lived through, to show yourself the amazing power you have in this world. You are strong, and you have a history of examples to show you that. I hope this helps you step into your power.--Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? 209: RESILIENCE | Part 1: The Mindset You Need for Change
This week I am starting a new series on Resilience - a subject which seems to be on everyone's mind right. The question is not how do we keep going when the going gets really tough, the question is how do we make ourselves feel better, have more energy, more joy and live our lives to the fullest so that we don't end up burnt out in the first place. As soon as I started recording I realized that this is not just one conversation, this is multiple conversations, so this is the first installment! I hope you enjoy it and that it gives you the tactics you need, that you can take to work, to your families, to your friends so you can show up to life.--Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? This is not an experience for you to transform into someone else, this is three full days of immersion to remind yourself how special you already are! At RISE we don’t believe there’s one right way to be a woman, we believe in women being as diverse and original as possible. Each and every one of us has incredible talent and skills — our own unique potential to offer the world — but as little girls, we’re taught to conform, be small, fit into someone else’s ideal of what a “good girl” is. RISE is about redefining the best version of yourself and creating a roadmap to help you become her. Get your tickets here! Learn more about your ad choices. 206: The Pivot Process - with Trent Shelton
Today's episode is some of the highlights from a webinar - my first webinar! - that I did last night with my friend Trent Shelton. I truly want to be able to serve my community, regardless of whether they have the means to come to Rise Conferences, or explore coaching or any of the things I put out there. Trent did not hesitate to come and do this webinar with me and we wanted to talk about all things 'change'. How to not just survive during great change but how to thrive, and live the best life through unprecedented times. I hope that you enjoy this episode and that it speaks to you, where you're at, right now.--Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Call (737) 400-HOCO, and press 1 to leave a question for Rach.
