253: Let's Talk About Money | Part 1

Money is something that people don't like to talk about. You might even feel like you are supposed to talk about it, like it's a taboo subject that's private. Behind closed doors.Recently on the podcast I did a series on Mindset - go and check out those episodes if you haven't yet - and when I was designing those episodes I thought that the most obvious one would be a money mindset, but I didn't record it, because I knew that talking about money might be problematic for people.Women, especially, need to be having conversations about money and finances and what they represent. We're totally underrepresented in the space. And there aren't a lot of honest conversations about how you attract money into your life and also how your childhood plays such a big role in the finances, the revenue, the success financially that you experience as an adult. So I told myself to stop being such a weenie and just do an episode. So that's we're going to talk about today, guys. We're going to talk about money.I just want to be clear, I don't want to have a conversation about money to offer you my best investing advice or money saving tips. Where I feel like I have expertise is in growing up poor and building a business as an entrepreneur. So, even if it's taboo, I hope you enjoy this episode about money.---Do you get my weekly Sunday email? 252: Rach Talk is BACK!

As the title of this episode would suggest, #RachTalk is coming back! Now if you're new around here and you haven't hung out with me in the Rach Talk format before, you are going to hear an episode about anything and everything. So usually when I do solo episodes, my intention is to be helpful and to talk about a topic that I think maybe you need to hear about. This is the podcast that you're going to listen to while you wash the dishes or take the dog on the walk or, you know, file your taxes. There is a conspiracy theory that Keanu Reeves is immortal. I'm only wearing an underwire like a normal bra if I need it for an outfit. The good news about that show is that I will always put the Rach Talk episodes here on the podcast - you can listen to them, but if you want to watch them, you're going to head on over to my YouTube and you can grab the whole thing there. Jack is such a talented editor, and he adds graphics and explosions and we always have a lot of fun.To get your hearts ready, this is a little conversation about whatever, I'm just pretending that you and I are girlfriends and we went to coffee or footer option or we got a sitter for our kids and we went to happy hour. Enjoy!--------Do you get my weekly Sunday email? 251: How To Forgive

Today I am answering a question that came from a listener. If you have never done it before, you've never heard me talk about it before that let me tell you that we have a Hotline here for the show where people from all over the world call in and ask a question or tell a story about how the work of this show has helped them! And I opened up the spreadsheet where all the voicemails sit, and this morning when I was going through it, it was like 22 cool stories and three questions. So I feel so freakin pumped. I heard the most amazing stories about actually all. I'll share my favorite one. I heard a story from a woman named Claire up in Canada who told me something really cool, so I'll put that in at the end so that you guys can hear it, too.I love knowing that the work that we do on this show is affecting your lives. So thank you for those stories. But I also really love questions, and it gives us great ideas for topics of conversation. Just like in today's episode, so if you have a question that you're wondering something, maybe something fun and silly, like, "Hey, Rachel, which route cover up do you use to cover up all the gray hairs that are currently climbing out of your center part? Or maybe you want to talk about something more serious or something more fun or whatever. Then the number that you're going to call is (737) 400-HOCO, and press 1 to leave a question for me and press 2 to share your story about the podcast, or anything!---Inner Circle is a private membership community of people from all over the world who are dedicated to becoming a better version of themselves. Each month Rachel teaches a lesson on a different topic (self-sabotage, how to create an action plan to achieve a goal, etc) and we work together as a community to hold each other accountable and do the work.Check out more about Rach's Inner Circle here! --> https://thehollisco.com/pages/rachs-inner-circle Learn more about your ad choices. 250: Signs Your Relationship is Over

This conversation feels important, and it's one that I haven't heard before. And I always think that if I wish something existed, or wished something had existed for me that I should create it because maybe there are some of you who wish it existed, too.And this podcast is about the signs that your relationship is in trouble, or more specifically, things I can look back now, post divorce and understand that they were pretty significant. Warning signs that I ignored. And I know, I know for a fact, there's so many listeners of this podcast and you're all over the world...so some of you are in this situation right now.Just a warning, I believe that relationships can be saved, but I am coming from the perspective of someone who is really happy with the very difficult decision that I made to end my 18 year relationship. If that perspective is not what you need right now, there is a different podcast out there for you! ---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? 249: Change Your Self Image - MINDSET for Success Part 3

Welcome to another episode of the Rachel Hollis podcast! I have cedar fever. Don't worry this this episode is not about cedar fever. This episode is about success. It's part of our series on the mindset for success. If you live around Central Texas or have ever lived around Central Texas, and you are for sure familiar if you're not, let me tell you about this crazy thing that happens once a year in Austin and that I did not know about or believe until I lived here. So there's all kinds of cedar trees in central Texas, where I live out in Hill Country outside of Austin, and every year about this time it utterly destroys me.But I was like, You know what part of success is? Doing what needs to be done. And this is what needs to be done right now. So I just wanted to explain to you guys why I'm sounding like that.Today I want to dig into my final thoughts on this, and like the real meat of this conversation. If you listened to the first part of this series, I had you do a little homework, so I asked you to think about your identity and how you self-identify and the beliefs that you have about yourself are the limiting beliefs that you have about yourself because those are so essential when it comes to the success that we experience in life. But for today, I want to get into some tactics, and some of these are things you've maybe heard before. Some of these are things maybe you haven't, but some of the most profound learnings in my life happened when I heard something I had heard before, but for some reason on that particular day in that conference or from that pastor or in that podcast, like something just hit me and I like lightning bolt was able to absorb that information in a way I hadn't before. So I'm hoping that you have that today. If nothing else, then maybe there'll be one great little nugget for you in this conversation.---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? 248: What Does Success Look Like? - with Russell Brunson

Hey, guys. Welcome to a new week and a new episode of the Rachel Hollis podcast. I'm your host, Rachel Hollis, and today I'm slipping a little something into our series on the mindset for success. So if you've been with me for the last couple of episodes, we've been talking all about the thought process and the mindset that you need to be successful. But in the midst of that, I had the opportunity to interview one of my friends, who is maybe the most successful business person I know. I sat down with Russell Brunson, who is the founder and CEO of Clickfunnels. If you're not already familiar, they are one of the biggest, if not the biggest, company that exists for helping online marketing entrepreneurs build bigger companies. Russell will explain it in this interview. Much better than I do, but the point is this person has built a company from the ground up and not just built it to be sort of successful, but wildly, wildly successful. So who better to ask about what success looks like? Because not only is Russell financially killing it and has been for a really long time, he's genuinely one of the best people I know, like the best, most humble, kindest, most excited, joyful about life. And I really wanted to know how he defined success and what he thinks is necessary for the rest of us to have in our mindset to make us successful too. So I hope you dig today's episode. If so, be sure and take a screenshot, tag me, tag Russell and let us know what you thought, but this is my conversation with my buddy Russell Brunson.---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? 247: What is your MINDSET when it comes to 'Success'?

Hey, guys. Welcome to another episode of the Rachel Hollis podcast. I'm Rachel Hollis, your host. And I am coming to you on a very cold day in Austin, Texas. I'm wearing sweat pants and doing this recording in my home office because that's how we do things now.We had a team meeting today and we always start every meeting with gratitude. And we all were just talking about feeling grateful to get to work from home and going into 2022 and just wanting to make sure that we're all really taking advantage of that. And I just am feeling the gratitude for that and Im feeling gratitude for the pieces of the last couple of years that have been good, it feels important to say that because I just feel like there's such a focus on how hard it has been and how hard it still is and and certainly, OMG, it's certainly true. But there are pieces of this time that I have really appreciated, and slowing down has been one of them.I say this in the hopes that maybe you find some gratitude for something you've learned in the last couple of years, or maybe your gratitude is a completely different thing entirely. But I think the action of looking for goodness even in hard seasons is how we keep going. It's how we stand up and go again and keep trying and find courage. And that's what I'm doing right now.Today I want to talk with you guys about "success", and maybe reframing what it means to go after and achieve success...or reframing what success even means in the first place. I hope you enjoy this next installment in my Mindset series!---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Call (737) 400-HOCO, and press 1 to leave a question for Rach. 246: The MINDSET You Need To Get Healthy

Hi, guys. Happy New Year, and welcome to the first brand new episode of 2022. This feels pretty exciting to me for a few reasons. Number one, I realized the other day that I started this podcast in 2017, So 2017, 18, 19 21, 22...That means we're going into our fifth year of the Rachel Hollis podcast, and back when I started, it was called something totally different. In fact, it's had a couple of different names over the years and ultimately just became the space where I could hang out with you and interview cool people and ask, I think, interesting questions, and talk about stuff that's going on in my life or lessons that I've learned. And I just wanted to start by thanking you for being along for the ride and whether this is your first episode ever (Hey, girl!) or you've been a listener for years, I just really appreciate the opportunity to keep showing up with you every single week. Now, let's talk about the mindset you need to achieve those new years goals!---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? 245: YOUR Manifestation Stories | Part 2

Remember when we had an episode where we featured...y'all? Those people in our community who called into the podcast hotline to tell me, to tell us, about their experience with the Ten Dollar Challenge. (If you haven't heard the episode about manifesting for beginners, check out episode 227 of the podcast. That's Part 1, and 229 is Part 2.)Well, that podcast episode apparently inspired a whole new group of people to try and all we got. We got so many calls into the hotline with so many amazing stories that I just have to share it again because I think in life, the most inspiring thing we will ever see is other human beings trying something that we're curious about or interested in. And I hope that these stories encourage you to believe that something more is possible inside of each and every single day of your life.So these are your stories about how you took Episode 227 and turned it into something good inside of your day. Keep the good news coming. Keep the good news spreading. Let's put goodness out into the world. Love you guys.---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet?
