Head of Learner Services and Resources
Cath Hicks joined Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales (then WEA South Wales) as a HR specialist in 2008, following previous HR roles in both the private and not for profit sectors. Since this time her role within the organisation has developed continuously, and she is currently Head of Learner Services and Resources.
As a member of the organisation’s Senior Management team, Cath’s areas of responsibility include Learner Services, Marketing, Health Safety and Environment, Welsh and Bilingualism, and HR. Reporting to the Chief Executive, Cath provides strategic leadership, management, and development of the HR strategy and the learner services strategy in support of the Strategic Plan and financial objectives. Cath also leads the promotion and development of an active Welsh language offer in all the organisation’s activities at a strategic level, ensuring that the bilingual nature of the organisation is projected effectively throughout Wales.

Ers hynny mae ei rôl ofewn y sefydliad wedi datblygu’n barhaus, ac ar hyn o bryd mae'n Bennaeth Gwasanaethau ac Adnoddau Dysgwyr.
Fel aelod o Uwch Dîm Rheoli’r sefydliad, mae meysydd cyfrifoldeb Cath yn cynnwys Gwasanaethau Dysgwyr, Marchnata, Iechyd, Diogelwch a’r Amgylchedd, Cymraeg a Dwyieithrwydd, ac AD. Gan adrodd i'r Prif Weithredwr, mae Cath yn darparu arweinyddiaeth strategol, rheolaeth, a datblygiad y strategaeth AD a'r strategaeth gwasanaethau dysgwyr i gefnogi'r Cynllun Strategol a'r amcanion ariannol.
