Voices from the Field: Cath Hicks

Cath Hicks Head of Learner Services and Resources Cath Hicks joined Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales (then WEA South Wales) as a HR specialist in 2008, following previous HR roles in both the private and not for profit sectors. Since this time her role within the organisation has developed continuously, and she is currently Head of Learner Services and Resources. As a member of the organisation’s Senior Management team, Cath’s areas of responsibility include Learner Services, Marketing, Health Safety and Environment, Welsh and Bilingualism, and HR. Reporting to the Chief Executive, Cath provides strategic leadership, management, and development of the HR strategy and the learner services strategy in support of the Strategic Plan and financial objectives.
