After months of doing coding tutorials online, Edward finally took a leap of faith and did a "coding bootcamp". If that wasn't radical enough, when it came to applying for jobs, Edward took the ultimate leap of faith: he applied for a Senior position (which he wasn't qualified for) in a technology he wasn't familiar with at his dream company (Untappd - a tech startup that's all about beer - another one of Edward's passions).After several grueling rounds of interviews (and teaching himself a new programming language along the way), Edward landed his first Software Engineering job at Untappd.Several years (and raises) later, Edward is still helping the beer community "drink socially" at Untapped.
