Dr. El Emam is a senior scientist at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Research Institute and Director of the multi-disciplinary Electronic Health Information Laboratory, conducting applied research on data synthesis, and the identifiability of health information and how to measure it, as well as a Professor in the  School of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Ottawa.
