In this episode we continue our series on the "secret history of the 20th century." Here, we examine the politics and economics of the industrial age and the energy industry it is dependent on. We'll also consider how the transition from the agrarian age to industrial age transformed the terrain of the ongoing battle in the West between democracy and oligarchy. Finally, we'll consider the necessity of petroleum to modern warfare and how this fact created the conditions for the rise of the Rockefeller dynasty within the American foreign policy establishment. To read the article:thewisdomtradition.substack.comMy website:www.alexsachon.comThank you,- AlexSend us a text

The table of contents for the entire project, with links to everything, can be found on my website:www.alexsachon.comIn this article, and in future articles in this chapter, themes and topics we've initially introduced and explored in previous chapters come back into focus in a new way. 48f. America (Part 6) | Francis Bacon Masterminds the American Revolution

In today's episode, we conclude our multi-part series on the occult history of America by examining the circumstances surrounding the American Revolution. In particular, we focus in on the influence that one particular individual, Francis Bacon, had on the founding of this country. For more on this story, check out the "unofficial" documentary I cut together on the topic of Bacon and the beginnings of the United States: https://youtu.be/Ivdc0tTiB3IThank you to everyone who watched this series on America. 48e. America (Part 5) | America's Fight with the Shadow (2/2)

In today's episode, we conclude a mini two-part series on the topic of the "Shadow" and how it relates to the development of Western Civilization. Here, we consider how the rise of capitalist oligarchies in Europe relates to the philosophical idea of the "Shadow". In particular, we look at the Venetian bankers and the Italian super-companies of the Middle Ages and consider how they symbolize the rise of a great collective Shadow Complex obtaining dominion over European consciousness. Democracy is the "Hero" who must fight and overcome this "Adversary" or "Shadow". Consequently, true democracy cannot be achieved until this capitalistic oligarchy is finally faced and overcome.www.alexsachon.comthewisdomtradition.substack.comthewisdomtradition.bigcartel.comThank you, - AlexSend us a text

48d. America (Part 4) | America's Fight with the Shadow (1/2)

In today's episode we consider the philosophy and psychology  of the "Shadow", which appears to confront us as the manifestation of our own negative karma. This theme was not only explored by psychologist Carl Jung; it is also an important aspect of ancient religious myth.In today's episode, we'll explore what it means and how it applies to our understanding of "America's Secret Destiny".This episode is Part 1 of a 2-part mini-series on this topic of the Shadow; Part 2 will follow shortly.www.alexsachon.comthewisdomtradition.substack.comthewisdomtradition.bigcartel.comThank you, - AlexSend us a text

48c. America (Part 3) | America's Place in World History

In today's episode, we continue our series on America by investigating the story of the rise and fall of the Inca civilization of Peru. Things begin with a recap of the "Cycle of the Arya" thesis that I've been exploring throughout this year-long book project on Philosophy. Then, we zoom in and look at the Inca as a case study of this larger pattern. We finish with a discussion of the psychology of race, comparing and contrasting it with that of "the nation".As I argue, the democratic "nation" is inherently post-racial, as it is premised upon the mixing of races and the development of cooperative initiative. I explore this idea in detail in the article and in this podcast episode. Stay tuned!www.alexsachon.comthewisdomtradition.subtack.comthewisdomtradition.bigcartel.comThank you, - AlexSend us a text

48b. America (Part 2) | The Homeland of Democracy

In today's episode we continue our series on the "deep" history of America by examining the theme of democracy, which has been experimented with here in the Western Hemisphere for thousands of years before the time of the American Revolution. In this episode, we explore how democracy existed not only during the golden age of the Maya, an idea we first introduced in Part 1, but also with the Iroquois tribe of North American Indians. Here, the sage and prophet Deganawida established the League of Five Nations, which emphasized democratic institutions here in North America one or two hundred years before the arrival of the European colonizers. Stay tuned for Part 3 of this series, which should be following soon. 48a. America, Land of the Feathered Serpent (Part 1) | The Deep History of America

In today's episode we're kicking off a new series/chapter titled "America, Land of the Feathered Serpent". The overall theme of this series is to establish a timeline of civilization in the Americas, beginning with the prehistoric empire of Atlantis and moving down through the time of the American Revolution - an event that Francis Bacon, the protagonist of our previous chapter/series, played a big part in organizing from behind the scenes. The topic of the American Revolution is one that we will be revisiting in a later article in this series. For this initial article, we will be setting the stage for that later discussion by first examining the history of America from the largest perspective and greatest point of view. Here we will look at the transition of ages between Atlantis and the Arya and investigate how these changes affected the development of civilization in the Western Hemisphere . After first laying out the main ideas of an Atlantis-centered origin story for life in the Americas, we'll then zoom in and investigate the ancient empire of the Maya as a case study of our hypothesis.Stay tuned, this episode is a good one.- Alex Sachonwww.alexsachon.comthewisdomtradition.substack.comthewisdomtradition.bigcartel.comTo watch the unofficial documentary I cut together on the topic of Francis Bacon and the American Revolution, you can find it on YouTube here https://youtu.be/Ivdc0tTiB3ISend us a text
