Ronny J Interview Producergrind Podcast OMGRonny! We got up with Ronny J in Miami for one of his first few interviews. We talked about him moving to Miami to pursue a music producer career. He went from sleeping on couches & living with Denzel Curry & XXXTentacion in the early days to producing some of the biggest songs of 2018 including 6ix9ine X Anuel AA - Bebe, Eminem - Killshot, MGK Rap Devil, & more. Young Chop Interview on the Producergrind Podcast. We linked up with Young Chop to ask him about his current lifestyle/career as well as his come up and everything in between. We talked about why he stopped sending beats out to get placements and started focusing on signing producers/ building his label. We got into to talking about some of his classic songs and the process that went into making those beats as well as his signature sounds. Young Chop also gave his side of the story on the "Vybe Beatz" remake situation from way back.

We got up with B Rackz in Atlanta to talk about his come up and some of the placements he has gotten through selling loop packs and sending out loop packs to industry producers like Wheezy who used one of B Rackz loops in the Drake & Lil Baby collab "Yes Indeed." He talked about discovering his loop was used after the song came out and what he did to get his credit & payment from the record.

Entertainment lawyer interview on the Producergrind Podcast. The producer community has been asking for this type of interview for a long time. We finally sat down with an entertainment lawyer, Karl Fowlkes, and asked him all the questions we have always wanted to ask a lawyer. We talked about music publishing, what to do if your beat gets stolen or used without permission, We asked about what to do if you get a placement with an artist and the label never pays you or credits you. We got into the pros and cons of signing a production deal with indie labels. We obviously had to get into the hot topic right now of sending out loops and how to protect yourself while sending out loops and selling loop packs. We also talk about how much you should pay for a lawyer and how to find a lawyer if you cant afford one. So many gems in this podcast. We couldn't wait to drop this on y'all. ENJOY!

Supah Mario interview on the Producergrind Podcast. We got up with Supah Mario at a studio in Atlanta to sit down and really talk about a few of the current BIG issues in the music producer community right now. We got the background story on Mario growing up in Columbia, SC which is an area making a lot of noise in the industry right now. We talked about him getting his first placement with Young Thug back in 2013 when he was working a regular job as a janitor and how long it took him to get his next placement and eventually move to Atlanta. We talked a lot about producer tags as well as the grey area that comes when using loops from sample packs that aren't royalty free loops and samples and getting placements with those beats. We briefly talked about how effective co-signs can be from major artists and how they can propel your career exponentially. Lot of real good producer talk in this one.

DJ Flippp Interview on the Producergrind Podcast. We pulled up to the new 808 Kartel Studio in Burbank CA to sit down and talk to DJ FLippp about his come up and growing up in Palmdale CA and how he bacame a producer and started making beats. He talked about how having a hustler mentality has allowed him to make money in the music industry from the beginning of his journey. selling beats online to now owning a recording studio and working with industry artists. We got him to give his best producer advice and talk about how to mix beats a little at the end.

Dro Fe Interview on the Producergrind Podcast. We pulled up to the NARCOWAVE trap house in Hollywood CA for an exclusive sit down with Dro Fe, an up & coming rapper, producer, and label executive known for his work with Valee, Sonny Digital, ChaseTheMoney, ManMan Savage, Warhol & More. We talked a lot about his come up and growing up near the Mexican border in south Texas which inspired his NARCOWAVE brand image.
