The Good Perry pulled up on us to talk about his producer come up story & linking up with Lil Yachty back in 2015. He told us the story of making a beat in FL Studio his car that would eventually change his life and make him rich (Lil Yachty - One Night.) We talked about a lot of different topics including how the music business has changed, signing to Coach K, His music publishing deal with Rick Rubin, how long it took to get paid as a producer, and even some deep philosophical stuff. Oh yeah we also talked a little but about the new Nexus 3 VST. This is the last Producergrind Podcast of 2019. Thank you guys for tuning in all year, we can't wait to go crazy in 2020!

Curtiss King pulled up to talk about mental healthhis breakthroughs practicing digital minimalism which helped him overcome social media addiction, depression, and finding the joys of everyday life. Yes he still loves making beats, selling beats online & helping other music producers learn how to sell beats but he is putting a lot of his energy into his regular people stuff. We all agreed that we love the Gary Vee motivation but it sometimes make us think we aren't doing enough.Curtiss also believes one of the most important tools for producers is talking to a therapist aka cognitive behavioral therapy despite the mental illness stigma in the culture. Certain disorders like social anxiety can hold your career back so it's best to get help with them. This was a dope episode because we haven't had too many guests on the producergrind podcast that have talked about these mental health type topics. Many followers of his channel look to him as an online life coach or a big bro. We also talked about Curtiss King's multiple passive income streams, using clickfunnels to sell beats & his thoughts on building a music producer YouTube channel.

T2 came to talk about passive income in music production, Setting up a cash flow statement in the music business, investing in real estate income property & much more. This is a one of a kind producergrind interview. T2 is a legendary house music producer who, after learning how to produce like a pro in logic pro X & reason, blew up in the UK underground scene with hit song "Heartbroken." He learned a lot of lessons along the way after leveraging his intellectual property through signing a music publishing deal, etc. One of our favorite points of this podcast is how he set up guaranteed cash flow by taking his money earned in music and investing in real estate & income property. He created a system which sustains his lifestyle so he can focus on making beats without having to worry about making money.

We had former music mogul Charlie Jabaley aka CEO Charlie pull up to drop some SERIOUS GEMS on the law of attraction, manifesting in the music industry, strategies on how to get placements & more. llmind Interview on the Producergrind Podcast. We had !llmind pull up on us in Atlanta for the exclusive interview. We talked about his come up starting in 2005 and the struggle of how long it took him to get placements as a producer. He dropped some BIG GEMS on how to keep a positive mindset and how to come up with a plan as a producer but still be able to go with the flow by having patience and faith. He is one of the FIRST PRODUCERS EVER to sell beats online and has been able to stand the test of time to still do it successfully in 2019.
