How To Network on Instagram

Welcome back to the Rise of The Young podcast, on today's episode I talk about the power of sending DM's on Instagram. The truth is, sending DM's has truly changed my life. That may sound weird to say, but the truth is that every single person I've had on this show has came from a DM on Instagram. Also, the way I've connected with all of my business partners has came from Instagram DM's. It's not just the "DM" itself that has changed my life, but the questions I ask and the follow up I use. Sending somebody a single DM won't change your life, but the relationship you build with that person will. On this episode I will be reading to you the DM's I've sent to people in order for them to get on my podcast. Each approach is different, and I'm here to show you the strategy to use if you're looking to connect with quality people on social media. -Here's the catch; in order to get a quality response from somebody, you must build a quality personal brand. When you're reaching out to somebody over DM's, the chances are that they're going to look at your Instagram page and determine if you're somebody they'd like to connect with. Therefore, understanding how important a personal brand is will make all of the difference in your life. Build a personal brand that truly positions you in the most authentic way. Now, make a list of the top 10 people who you'd like to connect with, and start sending them DM's. -If you haven't checked out my new Instagram page @riseoftheyoung then make sure you check it out. This page will be where I give all of you updates about the "Rise of The Young" podcast, and it will be a storyboard that you can follow (go check it out to learn more).-Follow "Rise of The Young": https://instagram.com/riseoftheyoung-Follow Casey Adams: https://instagram.com/caseyadams1-#riseoftheyoung Learn more about your ad choices. Episode 99: SELF JUDGMENT

Here’s what’s on my mind today: SELF JUDGMENT. The definition is this, “Self judgment results from thoughts individuals have about themselves and the meanings attached to those thoughts. The thoughts, hence, produce related feelings such as anxiety, anger, and depression.” This is a topic I want to talk about because I believe we all go through it. Each and every single one of us has judged ourselves based on what others are doing, saying, or accomplishing. The truth is, don’t be ashamed and get down on yourself once you recognize you’re having these thoughts. Being aware of your positive & negative thoughts allows you to have true breakthroughs in life. I have these thoughts all the time, but being aware of what you’re telling yourself is the key. YOU HAVE A STORY, and the truth is nobody can take that from you. Recognize that YOU are unique, and figure out what value you bring to the table. Social media creates such a “perception” around success, but after sitting down with over 100+ world class entrepreneurs I believe that YOU must define what success means to you. Stop comparing yourself to others, and start looking in the mirror. Are you becoming the best version of yourself? Or are you comparing yourself to another individuals definition of success? These are questions I always try to ask myself because I believe that we all get in the way of ourselves. Do you truly define your goals, and are you aware of the direction you’re heading in? It’s okay if you don’t know, but start having these conversations with yourself. You know what’s best for YOU, and nobody can take that away from you. Remember, self judgment results from the thoughts we have about ourselves, and the meaning we attach to those thoughts. Start attaching POSITIVE & UPLIFTING meanings to each and every thought you have about yourself.-Thank you for tuning into today's episode of the "Rise of The Young" podcast, moving forward they'll be an episode dropping every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. -Drop a comment on my recent post on Instagram about self judgment: https://www.instagram.com/p/ByOsB7bALuS/-Share this episode with a friend who needs it, thank you!-#riseoftheyoung Learn more about your ad choices. Episode 97: Screen Time With Caleb Maddix

On this episode of the Rise of The Young Podcast I sat down with the legend Caleb Maddix, and went in depth on how often we use our phones. As we all know, phones / social media is addicting. I spend a lot of time on my phone, but my intention is to be productive.-During this episode Caleb and I trade phones, and read each others "Screen Time." If you have an iPhone, then you understand what we're talking about. Apple manages how much time you spend on your phone, and on tracks what apps you spend your time on.-I've always tried to monitor my screen time, but sometimes it gets out of hand. A major goal of mine is to cut down on screen time, and maximize every moment I'm on my phone.-Caleb and I want YOU to let us know what you think about this segment. We came up with this randomly, and we believe it is a conversation worth having. We're interested to know what YOUR screen time is. So here's the challenge, screenshot your screen time & post it on your Instagram story and tag @caseyadams1 & @calebmaddix-Overall, let me know what you think about this episode. Our goal is to sit down with successful individuals & ask them to show us their screen time. We believe that if you "Show Me Your Screen Time, And I'll Show You Your Future..."-Follow Caleb Maddix on Instagram: https://instagram.com/calebmaddix-Follow Me on Instagram: https://instagram.com/caseyadams1-#SCREENTIME Learn more about your ad choices.
