He served 14 years in both the Navy, as a chef to the Commander of the US 6th Fleet, and in the Army as a team leader in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), one of the military’s most dangerous roles. After an IED explosion left him blind, Aaron defied expectations by becoming an EOD instructor, motivational speaker, mountain climber, white water kayaker, and marathon runner. Four years later, Aaron faced another life-altering challenge when bacterial meningitis took his hearing, rendering him completely deaf.Undeterred, Aaron rose again.
