We first came across Natalie and her story when she sat down with Byrdie.com.au in 2018 for a piece titled “I’m 24 and Living With Advanced Melanoma—This Is My Story”. Natalie’s words and insights in that interview were what informed our very last segment of Shameless in 2018, and what pushed us to change our own relationship with sun tanning forever. We had Nat as a guest at our Sydney live show in November, and are so lucky to now call her a friend.Nat is now battling stage four melanoma after the cancer spread to her small intestine and bowel. Given today marks a new year and a new decade, we thought now is the time to help Nat champion her message again. So, Team Shameless has enlisted the help of some of Australia's most influential and recognisable women to make a pledge toward sun safety in 2020.
