Daniel Cullen, a transient homeless man, lived on the streets for over 25 years in cities and towns across Canada. As an addict, slowly coming apart mentally and emotionally, he used drugs to numb the pain. The official psychiatric records say that he had “little hope of recovery,” yet he did more than just recover. He is now thriving and for the last 20 years helping others recover.
