Vartan Gregorian, President of the Carnegie Corporation of New York, Joins Denver Frederick
The following is a conversation between Vartan Gregorian, the President of the Carnegie Corporation of New York, and Denver Frederick, Host of The Business of Giving on AM 970 The Answer in New York City.
It is now my pleasure, indeed my honor, to welcome to the show one of the greatest friends that philanthropy and education has ever had. As president and CEO, he oversaw the renaissance of the New York Public Library in the 1980s. He left Brown University in far better shape than he founded where he served as its president through much of the 1990s, and who has been the guiding spirit of the Carnegie Corporation for nearly 20 years. He is Vartan Gregorian, the President of the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
