In most detective stories, we get to follow the adventures of hard-nosed private eyes who seem to be the smartest ones in the room. Today’s story, written by a 12-year-old from Texas named Maxiliano, is NOT like most detective stories. 

Imagine waking up one morning and everything has changed. Or maybe not everything, but one specific thing has changed, and it’s…everywhere. What if that thing was…toast? That’s exactly what happens in today’s new story, written by a 10 year old from Wisconsin named Brayden.
