HR Happy Hour - Episode 76 - 'Wellness Strikes Back' Thursday November 18, 2010 - 8PM ET The HR Happy Hour takes a second crack at the topic of 'Wellness' in the workplace with 'Wellness Strikes Back'. The first wellness show back in September had a few technical glitches, and we knew that the topic and our great panel of guests deserved a second airing, and the opportunity to do it right. Thankfully, our experts Tanya Barham, Greg Matthews, and Fran Melmed were able to join us again to talk about the increasingly important topic of wellness in the workplace. HR Happy Hour - Episode 75 - 'HR and Collaboration' Thursday November 11, 2010 - 8PM ET Last week on the show we talked about some of the main workforce challenges identified by CHROs as part of the IBM Global Chief Human Resources Officer study. One of the main challenges, and opportunities, for CHROs and for HR in general, was identified to be creating and supporting an environment for better enterprise collaboration, and to better unlock the potential in their workforces and ecosystems. For every sequel that kicks butt and helps to further the story, (think Empire Strikes Back), there are about a dozen that are a ridiculous waste of time. Last year, just before Halloween, we held the first 'HR Horror Stories' show, and it was EPIC. Listeners called in to share some of the most incredible, frightening, and cringe-worthy tales from their time in HR, Recruiting, and general management. Look, we all know people do some crazy, inappropriate, and shocking stuff at work. And we know that most of the time HR has to come in and clean up the mess. Since we know that even though last year's HR Horror Stories show was off the chain, there are even more wild stories out there that need to be told. So this week, in the spirit of the season, it is 'HR Horror Stories II'. No scheduled guests. No agenda. Just you calling in to share your tales of shock and awe from your time on the front lines.
