Venus and Mars are traveling different enegy paths over the next few months, and we are to wisely understand how to contain ourselves as needed in our expectations. Venus, the Feminine, is needing more time to herself as Mars, the Masculine is out in the world asserting himself and following a strong sense of purpose. Mars also voyages across the Galactic Center on Feb 12 and 13 and receives a higher blast of Truth and cosmic consciousness. The Feminine and Masculine each have different needs, intentions, and desires, which you could feel within yourself as well as in relationships of all kinds. Mercury is now in retrograde shadow, slowing down what we need to figure out in our heads, and asking us to look at how we can trust what feels right, even if we don't have the information. January closes with strong independent energies that are asking you for ownership and confidence in yourself. The Sun and Mercury in Aquarius are supporting the necessity to be who you are without compromising what you've learned. New doorways are opening in 2020 as Saturn enters Aquarius in March, and asking you to be clearer than ever about what path is best for you. Mercury enters retrograde shadow on February 2 and then moves into Pisces on February 3rd, so we'll be doing a lot of releasing the human constructs that are complete because they relate to a lower consciousness of self-identity. Venus in Pisces receives foundational support from both Pluto and Saturn over the next week, which is excellent for finances, relationships, and strengthening self-love. Transiting Saturn will be taking us further into our energy fields and asking you to honor your mastery and experiences. As January 2020 ends, Saturn will be moving away from the intense “panini press” of energies with Pluto and entering Aquarius in March 2020. We are opening up to new doors and possibilities that are now ready for you to master. Saturn will voyage back into Capricorn the second half of 2020 and fully enter Aquarius in late December 2020 with a conjunction to Jupiter in Aquarius. Look at everything you’ve learned about yourself in recent years, and trust what is in your heart now that is of higher alignment. The week is pulsing with energy as the Sun in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus at 2 degrees, and then the New Moon at 4 degrees Aquarius on January 24 brings in fresh awareness around what you are ready to change now. A cycle of life development is moving us forward, ready or not, and you can stay in your higher consciousness around the dynamics in play. Venus in Pisces will be conjunct Neptune early next week and experiencing a square from Mars in Sagittarius at the same time, resulting in the need for a slow down and releasing big expectations. The energy after eclipse period can last for months and years, and we are in the closing lunar cycle that brings us much needed respite after these intense energies of change.
