Mercury retrograde begins on Sept 9 at 9 degrees Libra and travels back to 24 degrees Virgo, making powerful connections to both Jupiter RX in Aries and Pluto RX in Capricorn. New realizations and powerful transformations are possible during this retrograde period, as Mercury brings us into contact with what we may have missed the first time around and need more time to process. The final week of August ends with Mars in Gemini squaring the Sun in Virgo, creating impatience and annoyance, while also opening us up to new possibilities, choices, and considerations after the intense energies of July and August. Mercury enters Libra on August 25, making it easier to share what we’re thinking with others, as well as finding mutually beneficial solutions that we may review again during the upcoming retrograde in September. Uranus is retrograde in Taurus from August 24, 2022 until January 23, 2023, traveling from 19 degrees back to 15 degrees in your natal chart. Uranus connects our energy systems with cosmic intelligence, quantum leaps, and higher frequencies, so the retrograde is an opportunity to reboot lower programming that is no longer in alignment with your personal value system (Taurus). Leo season unfolds as the powerful Uranus-Mars-NN conjunction in Taurus continues to shake us out of our comfort zones.
