Eclipse season continues with an interesting focus on Taurus themes of strengthening your core; Mercury retrograde requiring more time to process and think; and Mars in Cancer activating the emotional body to deal with whatever has been suppressed, uncomfortable, or ignored. Emotional karma and unconscious imprints could be arising, and the bigger picture is to make new choices and intentions based on who you are now – not what has happened to you previously. Pluto stations retrograde on May 1 at 0 degrees Aquarius, the same point as the Great Conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn in late December 2020 and digs into the truth of what is happening that ultimately affects the collective. A quieter Mercury retrograde in Taurus unfolds from April 21 to May 14 and is an opportunity to retract, reflect, and review what has dramatically shifted for you in recent years. The Aries Solar Eclipse is a hybrid total eclipse with 2 phases as the moon first creates a “ring of fire” with the Sun before fully appearing to cover the Sun with a total eclipse in the second phase. Every total solar eclipse is about endings and closures as the darkness of the new moon offers a powerful reset at 29 degrees Aries in your chart. You may feel a chapter ending or a closing on a particular life theme if you have planets or points around this degree point. The Sun enters Taurus on April 20 and then Mercury stations retrograde on April 21 at 15 degrees Taurus. The energy could feel strong and jolting, and then eases up as the Sun in Taurus interacts favorably with the North Node and Saturn in Pisces at 4 degrees. The Aries Solar Eclipse at 29 degrees on April 19/20 is an opening into new areas of yourself that you’re ready to grow and develop because they are in alignment with your future self and new soul potentials. A bridge between Aries to Taurus is occurring though, that will be a powerful checking in point for your comfort zones and unconscious patterns that cannot go forward and need to evolve. Turning point energies are here as April 2023 activates new pathways and inspirations to follow, while maintaining a higher awareness around what is happening in your emotional body.
