One of the main messages of October is “break that cycle”, especially with the 2 eclipses and Venus in Leo now reprogrammed after her retrograde journey. Venus in Leo experiences a Finger of God, or Yod, with Neptune RX and Pluto RX as the month begins, which is a checking in point to what you can see in a new light. Mars, Mercury, and the Sun meet up with the South Node in Libra for the first time since 2005, asking you to look at where you need to clear the air with someone. Mercury is moving fast through Virgo, Libra and into Scorpio, and Mars enters Scorpio this month. Virgo season ends with powerful awareness and revised directions as the Sun trines Pluto RX in Capricorn before moving through the Equinox Portal on September 22. This is the beginning of Libra season and we move into the second half of the astrology year with a focus on energies that we share, offer, and experience with others. Venus in Libra trines Chiron RX in Aries on Sept 23, bringing confidence and strength to what you’ve reprogrammed in your heart. Then Mars in Libra opposes Chiron RX in Aries at 18 degrees, which requires action with detachment and to not take anything personally. The Sun in Virgo has a cosmic week of connections starting with the Virgo New Moon at 22 degrees on September 14, making a direct trine to Uranus RX in Taurus at 22 deg. Your new intentions will have extra excitement and support moving forward, especially as Mercury stations direct at 8 degrees Virgo on Sept 15. Fresh ideas, solutions, priorities, and the establishment of new routines is heavily supported. Virgo season feels bigger with the Pisces Full Moon closing out August, highlighting where we may be at capacity and feeling full in our own energies. Venus in Leo stations direct at 12 deg on September 3, and Jupiter stations retrograde in Taurus at 15 deg less than 24 hours later. There is an ongoing square between Venus and Jupiter through most of September, amplifying desire and what you want, but it may be out of reach for a bit. Jupiter is working well with Mercury retrograde in Virgo, so there is a benevolent protective energy as Jupiter interacts with both Venus and Mercury right now. A quieter week unfolds as fewer aspects means the energy can be more focused, internal, and even feels slower. Mercury retrograde makes his exact conjunction with the Sun at 13 deg Virgo on Sept 6, and then Mercury moves ‘behind the scenes’ to check out what is really going on that he can now tune into as he journeys behind the Sun.
