Many of us have found ourselves asking, “What could possibly happen next?” We’ve lost our sense of control over the future and don’t know how the events of the world will play out. Yet in the midst of the unknown, God invites us to hold fast to His unchanging nature and steadfast promises. For many, a key motivation in what we choose to do every minute of our day is to avoid discomfort. Our culture tries its hardest to escape any kind of suffering.
