Marcus Willis - British No.23, World No.772 and winner of $64 so far in 2016, faces one of the greatest tennis players ever to pick up a racquet - Roger Federer - in the second round of Wimbledon, and The Tennis Podcast team couldn’t wait to talk about it. Wimbledon is here, the draws are out and The Tennis Podcast team is here to preview the fortnight. Catherine Whitaker and David Law are joined by Simon Briggs, the Telegraph’s Tennis Correspondent, and all three concur on who they see winning the Wimbledon title on the men’s side, with a few disagreements along the way. On the women’s side, no-one seems to agree on anything.  There’s the fairytale run of Marcus Willis, ranked No.775, who has won through 6 matches to make the main draw, and 15 British players in total. The team agree that things are moving in the right direction.  The Tennis Podcast is produced in association with Telegraph Sport. We will have shows every day during Wimbledon.  Hosted on Acast.
