Ep. 244 {HOTM} Solar Eclipse Aries New Moon: Reigniting Right Relationship
Happy New Moon, fam! We’re joined by Megan Liebmann in this Healers On The Mend episode covering the significance of this solar eclipse in the sign of Aries, as well as the New Moon, in all their fiery glory. This eclipse and moon continue this theme of initiatory energy and call extra attention to the importance of healthy boundaries, knowing thyself, and which "fires" to tend and which to extinguish. We cover the energetic influences of fiery Aries and the connection between anger, inflammation, hot bloodedness and health, particularly in relation to Aries and the liver. We touch on unresolved anger as a potential cause of inflammation in the body, and how helping clients/patients identify and work through their anger can lead to improved health outcomes. We also share some of our favorite ways of working with Aries remedy herbs, including Yarrow (for the “wounded healer”) and Vervain, including Yarrow flower essence as support for healthy energetic boundaries - a must for all healers! Hawaiian goddesses Haumea and Pele make cameos just in time for Earth Day on the 22nd, reminding us of the concept of “pono,” the practice of Ho'oponopono and restoring the right relationship with our Selves, Mother Earth, and the natural world. Find the Complete Show Notes Here: wildlyrooted.com/podcast In This Episode We Talk About: Overview of April 19’s solar eclipse and new moon in Aries The 29th degree of Aries as a charged and spiritually connected point, known as the anorectic degree - the solar eclipse occurring at this point could bring about change and karmic events on personal and collective levels Boundaries and sovereignty in relation to Aries The importance of putting out fires that do not serve us and establishing healthy boundaries The current energies and how they relate to understanding our place in the collective whole Possible turbulence coming from Mars being “out of bounds” Self-healing as collective healing for the whole The transformative Art of Questioning: the importance of asking powerful questions, especially for practitioners The connection between anger, inflammation, and health issues, particularly in relation to Aries and the liver The influence of the Kuiper belt planet named Haumea and the Hawaiin concept of “pono” The energy of fire and creation: its potential for restoring the right relationship with the Earth Exploring your role as an individual in support of yourself, family, and the planet Aries remedy herbs and plants to support blood, inflammation, and healthy boundaries Resources: Apply for the Wildly Intuitive Practitioner Pathway Subscribe :: Sign up for our newsletter to receive updates on upcoming programs and events In The Episode: Feed Your Wild x Ep. 128 Medical Astrology 101 :: Mapping Individual & Collective Health Trends + Coronavirus Insights With Judith Hill Feed Your Wild x Ep. 237 Cultural Practitioner Living In Multiple Worlds with Kumu Ramsay Feed Your Wild x Ep. 240 {HOTM} Spring Equinox + Aries New Moon About ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) + ACE Quiz via NPR Where To Find Venessa wildlyrooted.com IG - @wildlyrooted Where To Find Megan slowmedicinecollective.com amethystandrose.com IG - @amethyst_and_rose IG - @slow.medicine.collective Submit Submit Your Questions! Ep. 242 Libra Full Moon: Healing in Relationship (Solocast)
Happy Libra Full Moon, fam! I’m covering the energetic influences of airy Libra and the connection to the Tower card in the tarot = big change and opportunity to rebuild on solid ground, in alignment with one's truth! Libra is all about balance and equilibrium, inviting us to look at how this plays out in our relationships. I talk about relationships as mirrors, and how this lunation supports us to take off the rose-colored glasses and look at our reflection with radical honesty and courage. With Chiron active, the wounded healer, we’re faced with the important work of coming back to our wholeness, using our wounds as gifts to guide us towards deeper healing and remembrance of who we truly are. I cover Libra’s connection to the kidneys, urinary system, hormones, endocrine system, and veins, various manifestations of imbalance in these areas, and supportive plant allies to bring back balance to our tissues. I even have a yummy aphrodisiac libation recipe for you to bring nourishment and balance to your sacral and heart ❤️ This time is all about awakening to what is and allowing this full moon to illuminate what’s ready to be released, with love. Ep. 239 Imposter Syndrome: My Personal Journey + Favorite Resources For Working Through Shadows (Solocast)
Let’s talk about “Imposter Syndrome,” shall we? While I admittedly am not a huge fan of that term, it serves to spark recognition in others who experience a form of self-doubt that is incredibly pervasive and insidious - especially for intuitives, empaths, and healers. As a case study, I share my personal story of navigating imposter syndrome throughout my life, how it manifested in different stages, and what it took to finally move through my biggest blocks around it and finally speak my Truth consistently and confidently. I cover how imposter syndrome can lead to procrastination and chronic anxiety, draining one's mental and emotional energy, the importance of building discernment of the various voices in our head, and the multidimensional roots of this common phenomenon. I also share some of my favorite resources for navigating our shadows, including the Gene Keys & the art of contemplation for transformation - giving specific examples of working with this incredible system within my own life. Ultimately, imposter syndrome (or phenomenon) is an invitation to engage with a profound process of personal evolution and collective healing - if we recognize it and lean in.
