234. TBR - Building in the Memecoin Era w/ Francis Dhun, Co-founder of SatsPumpFun
We receive a very insightful question from somebody who watches this podcast who has been an active participant in the things we have been building. The question focuses on tying together $NAT, Bitmap, NATRIX, DMT NATs and UNATs into a sensible overall understanding how all these creations interplay with each other. We discuss how our thesis of metaverse maximalism has influenced just about everything in relation to what we have been building on Bitcoin. By understanding the economic requirements of the metaverse and the need to introduce digital commodities for the metaverse market on Bitcoin, $NAT and the DMT framework ws built in order to maintain non-arbitrary principles Bitmap introduced for this new asset class. NATs and UNATs all are created through the utilization of Bitcoin block data, thus giving their existence a forever association to Bitcoin as opposed to arbitrary token creations. We describe the NATRIX as the culmination of all these technologies by bringing the DMT commodities market into a composable application environment that can be hosted by Bitmap parcel owners. The real mission to increase interest in metaverse asset ownership and to kickstart a UGC economy that accelerate the proliferation of content and experience for metaverse users. We do so by leveraging $NAT as the face of the ecosystem in order to introduce the principles of DMT in the manner that poses the least friction. With $NAT token interest surging, more will discover all other DMT creation from art to the metaverse. What does this all lead to? Hopefully a metaverse economy with truly unique economic properties related to what makes Bitcoin valuable and in the end onboarding a larger user base to Bitcoin who are less interested in Bitcoin financial application, more so inclined to participate in the nascent metaverse journey.

233. TBR - Bitoshi Blocks Us | Challenging Bitmap “Standards” | LDE Parcel Improvements EXPLAINED
There has been a lot of drama in the Bitmap community since our NATRIX release. Mostly coming from people who side with Bitoshi’s existing parcel framework which disregards critical ecosystem needs for more efficient parcel distribution. We discuss all the problems with the current parcel standard and Will breaks down exactly how the LDE process solves all of them. With all of this community disagreement between how technical progress should be introduced into the Bitmap ecosystem, we extended an invitation to Bitoshi to have a conversation around these topics, which resulted in him blocking us on X.
We then question the ethos of Bitmap as its original purpose was to be an open metaverse development ecosystem where community developers contribute and have the opportunity to affect technical outcomes for the betterment of creators and users. However, with recent actions from Bitoshi, it seems to be there is an attempt to create a singular pathway for developers which can only originate from Bitoshi’s self appointed lens of authority. We disagree with this position and through our technical delivery of an improved parceling method, we are challenging the existing standard and point to how this is how ecosystems should evolve, similarly to how parent-child was adopted into the Ordinals protocol through community effort due to its provenance improvements.
Ultimately we continue to build out our technologies and frameworks to support developers and creators who want to make a real impact for the metaverse on Bitcoin. With this giving access to these tools for all Bitmap owners to utilize, giving them the ability to create value out of their Bitmaps how they see fit. Exactly how it should be done in an open metaverse economy.

232. TBR - NATRIX Breaks Bitmap | Building a Metaverse on Bitcoin For Developers or A Cult?
We recently initiated the first Bitmap LDE and community reaction has been quite volcanic. More than 600 parcels have been distributed from a single Bitmap and builders are already utilizing the tools of BitmapOS to build out their virtual experiences within the NATRIX. However, members of the Bitmap community feel this to be a negative for the Bitmap ecosystem due to differences in interpretations of how Bitoshi’s Bitmap Parceling standard is to be respected. We go through our reasoning and logic as to how we performed an LDE in the manner that has been done utilizing TAP protocol for a more efficient approach.

231. TBR - LOCKING IN For Bitcoin Bull Cycle | Embracing The Hard | Metaverse Endgame
We’ve been building for more than a year now in the Bitcoin ecosystem and are finally at a point where we are able to hone in and lock down our development roadmap in order to finalize our metaverse on Bitcoin vision. Since the beginning days of DMT we have relied on Benny’s developments on the TAP protocol to support critical functionalities. As the TAP protocol continues to evolve, our more metaverse development focused goals now seem much more feasible and a high velocity metaverse economy built on Bitmap, powered by BitmapOS and the TAP protocol. We discuss the difficulties we have faced in this journey so far in developing DMT protocol and now BitmapOS technologies to improve the developer experience for Bitmap builders.

230. TBR - Ordinals Are in Trouble | Are You Ready for NATRIX 😎
We begin our podcast talking about some of the drama within the Ordinals community around the disruptive ability for Ordinal collection founders to make alterations to what is and is not part of their collection post mint. This falls in direct opposition to what Ordinal influencers have touted as the killer benefit to owning an Ordinal art piece as opposed to an NFT. The immutability provenance associated to Bitcoin does not seem to be applied in the metaprotocol realm and we discuss exactly why this is and detail how this will be a continued issue and potential FUD vector as the Ordinals market continues forward.
We then go into more details about the NATRIX which we will likely begin LDE within the coming days without a fixed date. We break down what Bitmap is and how the NATRIX is the most true to Bitmap metaverse ecosystem roll out since the inception of Bitmap Theory. Also, we discuss how NATRIX is a showcase demonstration of how to onboard community by utilizing a single Bitmap as a super powerful tool to align community to partake in the construction process of a virtual environment. Also highlighting how the tools developed to make NATRIX a powerhouse demonstration being publicly available for all Bitmap owners to utilize in the future.

227. TBR - Exploring the DMT-UNAT Creator Journey w/ King, Founder of The Royals
We interview King, one of the pioneer builders in the DMT ecosystem who has an extensive background in NFT and Ordinal artistry. We dive into King’s early inspirations from the Ethereum NFT movement that led to identifying on-chain art on Bitcoin becoming the next major vertical of innovation for crypto artists. This realization gave King the opportunity to spawn an Ordinal collection in the early days where major infrastructure was not being provided yet. From there, the discovery of DMT through Natcats led to one of the more notable periods of DMT ecosystem development surrounding the launch of The Royals collection.
King’s ability to identify major ecosystem dilemmas contributed to the development of Privilege Authority supported by TAP protocol, to tackle some of the early day issues of UNAT minting concentration. Because of this Mscribe was able to leverage this new functionality to create new NAT distribution models such as the Blockpad. We discuss some of the drama that occurred during those development cycles and reflect on the major breakthrough of achievement as a result of this collaboration. To end we discussed the creator mindset as a successful project founder and how to handle ecosystem expansion and community alignment towards higher value goals of production. Also, we discuss what is the major opportunity DMT presents for artists and developers looking to find inspiration once again by working directly with the data substrate layer native to Bitcoin.

226. TBR - The Frameworks to Build a Billion Dollar Metaverse Economy on Bitcoin
We discuss more updates to the NATRIX and break down core concepts that we believe in that will make the metaverse more impactful as a market sector in crypto. As we build up to our Land Distribution Event more people are asking us how will our technology stack in BitmapOS enable a better outcome than what we have seen already in previous metaverse attempts. This is a good questions as it allows us to focus on our own internal direction.
From the very beginning we have always believed the focus is always on the developer. This means not only supplying devs with the proper guidance and frameworks to build out metaverse apps more efficiently, but also ensure there are ample pathways toward monetization in order to sustain development. METAs (Metaverse Enabled Tokenized Apps) are different than a typical digital asset, they require regular maintenance and potential upgrade to remain compatible with the underlying OS stack. This introduces new layers of complexity and economic consideration in order to ensure the content being proliferated throughout the metaverse has the right foundations.
We then discuss the important opportunities that will present themself once The Natrix ecosystem matures such as the ability for land owners to generate passive income through the shared hosting of METAs. How this is done we explain through in-metaverse payment split technology and the abilities to delegate and receive delegation of assets in order to build out engaging experiences that retain user interest.
We discuss the above considerations and so much more in this podcast as well as unveil more mechanics around the built in avatar system for The Natrix. Keep your eyes open for a little teaser of a cute like Block Runner cameo in the metaverse itself ;)

225. TBR - How We Are Building Toward The First FULL Bitmap Land Distribution Event (LDE)
The Bitmap experiment has been ongoing for more than a year, introducing a community focused on delivering metaverse primitives that help Bitmap owners build out their virtual environments. We ask in this hour long podcast, what will it take to get the state of the metaverse anywhere near capable of supporting a digital economy at the scale of multi-trillions of dollars worth of virtual value. We’ve been asking ourselves this very question for years and go over some of our thoughts and share history from our origins of metaverse development.
We then introduce our virtual environment (NATRIX) in NatCat 3D avatar form, which is utilizing the technology framework of BitmapOS that we have developed. With the NATRIX we intend to distribute the first FULL land distribution event (LDE) by utilizing a new feature to Mscribe that will enable Bitmap owners to fully distribute their parcels to individuals who want to purchase them through parent-child inscriptions. The experience will be similar to the NAT blockpad but repurposed for Bitmaps. Our goal is to have this method of parceling and community onboarding onto a Bitmap become a re-occurring activity within the metaverse economy, similar to token launches (TGEs) in the broader crypto space.
