To help you improve your English conversation, you will be taking a deep dive into the English word, cold. You will learn roughly 17 different ways we use cold in English. But thankfully, there are no phrasal verbs used with cold. You might hear of someone catching a cold. You might hear of someone eating a cold breakfast. English speakers often describe a mean person as cold hearted. You could give someone a cold stare. Of course, you will learn what a cold stare is in English. You might someone who has to take a cold shower because they are too excited. A cold snap is a number of days right in a row in which the weather is very cold.
