The Jeremy Ryan Slate Show
Jeremy Ryan Slate
The Jeremy Ryan Slate Show is a bi-weekly investigation into how power really works—across history, empires, and the modern world. Each episode draws on two core lenses:Hidden forces behind history—royal murders, lost colonies, financial systems, modern elites, NGOs, propaganda, and the quiet mechanisms that shape events long before they reach the headlines. And the Roman pattern—the idea that today’s crises aren’t new. Currency collapse, political division, border chaos, military overreach—Rome faced them all first. The Roman Empire spent centuries making every mistake a civilization can make, and left behind a playbook we’re following again, page by page.Through expert conversations with historians, researchers, and serious thinkers—and deep dives into primary sources, documents, and records—this show connects ancient history to modern power with evidence, not opinion. You’ll learn to: • Recognize collapse signals before they’re obvious • Understand modern crises through ancient parallels • See how empires actually rise, decay, and fall • Spot the patterns shaping what comes nextFrom medieval conspiracies to modern cover-ups, from Augustus to Constantine, from ancient Rome to today’s global order—this is history as investigation. No spin. No narratives. Just receipts.New episodes twice a week.

537: 2019 is the Year to Start Your Podcast | Freestyle Friday
About This Episode: People always laughed at my big goal to help the world. "You're just a small town guy, how could you ever do that?"I knew the "How" was podcasting, but it just sounded too hard and complicated. I had attempted to start many times since I had listed to my first show in 2011, but the lack of technical knowledge and even my own limiting beliefs stopped me every time. Then, in early 2015 I launched a show, that flopped. It didn't just flop, it crashed and burned and in 60 days it was done. To save my pride it didn't crash that hard, I had less than 200 downloads in the 60 days it existed. Later that year I made a decision, I could do this, I would treat it like a professional and really have that impact where I would reach the world. I launched the Create Your Own Life Show later that year, and the difference was astounding. Now, my show is listened to in 195 countries, been downloaded over 1 million times and been featured in places like INC Magazine and Forbes. I've gotten to speak to so many of my heroes, including: Grant Cardone, Seth Godin, Danica Patrick, Robin Sharma, Russell Brunson, Jen Sincero, Jim Tressel and over 500 other world-changers. I created my world changing platform and this course will set you up in the position to do the same. You can reach a global level and having a podcast can help you to do that. 533: How Losing the Nobel Prize Caused This Man to Redefine Failure | Dr. Brian Keating
Our guest for this episode is Dr. Brian Keating... Brian Keating is a professor of physics at the Center for Astrophysics & Space Sciences (CASS) in the Department of Physics at the University of California, San Diego. He is a public speaker, inventor, and an expert in the study of the universe’s oldest light, the cosmic microwave background (CMB), using it to learn about the origin and evolution of the universe. Keating is a pioneer in the search for the earliest physical evidence of the inflationary epoch, the theorized period of expansion of space in the early universe directly after the Big Bang. Physicists predict that this evidence will reveal itself as a particular pattern in the way CMB light is polarized; this pattern is referred to as a B-mode pattern.
