He discusses how he worked part-time in a supermarket to help fund stock purchases and cash flow, and how fortunately for him he always had his parent's support. He explains how he originally grew the brand through influencer partnerships and organic social, before pivoting to paid spend across the usual platforms, and how he has essentially led the creative direction of the brand by simply designing for himself. As well as learning from his wildly successful clients, we discuss his personal experience with UHNW individuals, how often financial success doesn't lead to happiness and what the process for selling a business, engagement to the transaction, actually looks like.He explains how many factors can influence a valuation - EBITDA, industry, age of business and recurring revenue amongst others - as well as how for many sellers, finding a well-suited 'strategic' buyer can often be the most lucrative. We dive into what a day to day and month to month work lifestyle looks like in this niche, super private industry - as well as the power of building a great network, balancing work & play and building a leadership team that allows you to play to your strengths as an entrepreneur and deal maker.I think this will be a fascinating insight into a side of business & entrepreneurship which is so rarely shared publically - and learning from Nick's experience both directly & indirectly with clients, will give a powerful, unique perspective to all the younger business owners watching, as well as everyone else! We discuss how growing up fast lead to him starting his first business, carving out his personal brand and scaling up to where he is today - leading his agency, info product empire, YouTube channel, charitable pursuits & crypto investments amongst others. In a discussion ranging far beyond Iman's usual agency-focused content, we dive into the dynamics of women & relationships as an entrepreneur, how money changes your perspective on what truly matters, and dealing with depression in a social media world. We also delve into the topic of psychedelics, our experiences and where I believe recent studies will take them over the next few years, as well as cryptocurrency, life philosophy and many other areas in this mammoth discussion of life.I think this is arguably the most transparent, varied and in-depth podcast conversation on the channel yet, and one that I really think will benefit many listeners - especially if they listen to the whole thing! I really enjoyed recording this one, and as usual it's a banger! Enjoy the ep, share it to a friend and leave your thoughts in the comments below...cheers_____________________Connect here -email - matt@midnight.cohttps://www.midnight.cohttps://www.instagram.com/matthuciushttps://twitter.com/matthuciusOld Vlog Channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/MatthewKellyonlineIman's links here -https://www.instagram.com/imangadzhihttps://www.growyouragency.com/Listen to the podcast on Spotify here - https://open.spotify.com/show/06udMb2kDgv1mL40gxOSlK?si=fkXLx0A8S-O7OdukQUjSCA&dl_branch=1Listen on Apple podcasts here - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/midnight-podcast/id1585632377 Hosted on Acast. Ep 13 - Rowing the Atlantic, Marine Mindset & Extreme Endurance - Bruce & Nutty

Midnight Podcast | Episode 13 - Rowing the Atlantic, Marine Mindset & Extreme Endurance -Bruce & NuttyThanks for watching - please SUBSCRIBE to the channel here - https://www.youtube.com/c/MidnightPodcastChannel?sub_confirmation=1*** Resources here *** - https://www.midnight.co/https://www.learnrealcommerce.com//// My fully comprehensive BRAND BUILDING COURSE: https://www.learnrealcommerce.com/full-course-enroll-now/// NEW MERCH DESIGNED BY ME - aesthetic items to complement the process: https://www.midnight.co/shop_____________________In this episode, we speak to 'Bruce & Nutty', 2 Royal Marines Commandos who have both served over a decade, and in recent years have taken a liking for extreme water endurance challengesWe discuss how they both got started straight out of school, choosing to pursue commando training instead of a more traditional route into A levels and university, the early challenges of passing fitness tests and basic training - as well as an inside look at how life looks day to day as a marine. They explain how in recent years they've taken up extreme endurance Kayak events, crossing hundreds of miles of water without sleep, conquering the mental aspect of such challenges, and finding peace in such solitary pursuitsWe also dive into their most recent expedition, where they rowed the entire Atlantic Ocean as part of a 4 man crew in a boat no bigger than the average van - in a ruthless crossing that took 7 weeks. Rowing through 20-meter seas, having whales & sharks follow them for days & battling hallucinations after losing connection to their Spotify account! The anecdotes shared here about the row, and eventual arrival in Barbados where they finished the crossing, will have many listeners questioning the way they look at much less serious situations...I think this will be a fascinating insight into an entirely different way of living and looking at the world. Coming from a Rowing background myself, I've always had an admiration for such grueling tests of fitness & mind, and there are many lessons that can be taken here and applied to any area of life - those who truly want to win or get something done will do anything to get there, no matter what - enjoy the episode!_____________________Connect here - email - matt@midnight.cohttps://www.midnight.cohttps://www.instagram.com/matthuciushttps://twitter.com/matthuciusOld Vlog Channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/MatthewKellyonlineNatasha's links here -https://www.instagram.com/natasha.vilasecaListen to the podcast on Spotify here - https://open.spotify.com/show/06udMb2kDgv1mL40gxOSlK?si=fkXLx0A8S-O7OdukQUjSCA&dl_branch=1Listen on Apple podcasts here - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/midnight-podcast/id1585632377 Hosted on Acast. He explains how he spotted early on that the real opportunity was in the big spenders or 'clients' who in a city like London were out partying somewhere, every single night of the week.He dives into the story of how he eventually went from promoting clubs to founding his own, raising investment, leveraging his network and capitalizing on his compounded list of clients who would always come to him. From hustling more business out of AMEX centurion's client contact manager to building genuine friendships with billionaires, he shares many stories & insights which I'm sure you'll find both insightful and entertaining! £100k club show bottles, celebrity guests, and what really determines 'who gets in' on a central London night out. We also discuss the darker side of the nightlife industry, how COVID nearly ruined everything and where he sees his business going in the long term...I was genuinely fascinated to speak with Asher and learn first hand what the industry is really like, as well as break the stereotypes I had previously held around owners of these sorts of venues! There's a million lessons in this episode that can be applied to all areas of entrepreneurship, relationships and life in general - enjoy it, this one is a banger!_____________________Connect here - email - matt@midnight.cohttps://www.midnight.cohttps://www.instagram.com/matthuciushttps://twitter.com/matthuciusOld Vlog Channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/MatthewKellyonlineAsher's links here -https://www.instagram.com/asher_grant88https://www.instagram.com/LDNREIGNhttps://www.instagram.com/TABU.LDNhttps://www.instagram.com/EGGRUN_UKListen to the podcast on Spotify here - https://open.spotify.com/show/06udMb2kDgv1mL40gxOSlK?si=fkXLx0A8S-O7OdukQUjSCA&dl_branch=1Listen on Apple podcasts here - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/midnight-podcast/id1585632377 Hosted on Acast. We discuss how he found his passion early on and immersed himself in the world of music by studying at college and building a network, before ultimately releasing his first EP and kickstarting his full-time solo career. He opens up about historic prejudice towards Asians in the industry, being judged by outsiders for following his dreams in the early days, and how money in music really works. We dive into what's needed to get noticed on social media today, how there are more opportunities but also more competition than ever, and how building the right relationships can be the key to unlocking bigger opportunities and success for the long term.Another episode here that's slightly against the grain of what our followers are used to, but being a huge music fan myself and genuinely fascinated to learn more about the industry, I think many lessons and insights can be taken from this that are relevant in all areas of entrepreneurship! Ep 10 - Tokyo Olympics Heartbreak, GB Rowing & Future of Sport - James Rudkin

We also discuss his formative years at the elite level, his fond memories of rowing at Newcastle University, winning Henley as a student and getting further GB vests as an under 23, before eventually breaking into the senior team.He opens up about the pressures & realities of elite-level Rowing, from the consistent gruelling training to the generally low level of financial support, as well as learning to balance focus towards medals with the preparation for professional life after sport. We discuss the lead up to Tokyo 2020, in an Olympiad where a global pandemic nearly cancelled everything, the strains of training in isolation, nerves on the startline and the realities of missing out on Gold by 1 second in a sport that demands everything. While slightly different to the usual theme of weekly episodes with entrepreneurs, I think stories & lessons shared here can be applied to any area of life, and just go to show that hard work & consistency are what's required at the very least to succeed, no matter who you are and what you do. For those new to Rowing, I think this will be a great insight into one of Britain's most successful sports not often given the attention I believe it deserves - enjoy the episode!_____________________Connect here - email - matt@midnight.cohttps://www.midnight.cohttps://www.instagram.com/matthuciushttps://twitter.com/matthuciusOld Vlog Channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/MatthewKellyonlineJames' links here -https://www.instagram.com/james_rudkinhttps://www.britishrowing.org/athlete/james-rudkin/Listen to the podcast on Spotify here - https://open.spotify.com/show/06udMb2kDgv1mL40gxOSlK?si=fkXLx0A8S-O7OdukQUjSCA&dl_branch=1Listen on Apple podcasts here - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/midnight-podcast/id1585632377 Hosted on Acast.
