Dr. Robert Yarbrough is the Professor of New Testament at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. He is an ordained Teaching Elder in the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America) and has been teaching New Testament in the college/seminary context for over 40 years, with experience internationally (Sudan and South Africa) and domestically (Illinois, Missouri, and Virginia). His research interests are in the historical background of the New Testament, teaching the original Greek of the New Testament, and book of Acts and Paul's epistles. He has written many commentaries on various New Testament books, some theological works, and a very popular level book on the background of the New Testament.
Join us as Dr. Yarbrough discusses how to most effectively read the New Testament, how 1st century context gives us a fuller grasp of what the authors are telling us, and how we can make sense of the relationship between the New Testament and Old Testament!

Matthew S. Harmon, Professor of New Testament studies at Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, IN, loves to help people understand the beauty of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Scriptures, seeing it as the key to life transformation (2 Corinthians 3:18). As a result, the focus of his ministry is teaching and preaching God’s word in various contexts. He has a passion for research and writing, specializing in the use of the Old Testament in the New Testament, biblical theology, commentary writing and the Pauline epistles. He is an active member of Christ’s Covenant Church, where he leads a small group, teaches Sunday School, and serves on the preaching team. His books include Making All Things New and Asking the Right Questions: A Practical Guide to Understanding and Applying the Bible as well commentaries on Galatians, Philippians, 2 Peter, and Jude.

Dr. C. John "Jack" Collins is the Professor of Old Testament at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. He's an ordained elder in the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America), with whom he planted a church in Washington in the 80's and 90's, and has been teaching at Covenant Seminary since the early 90's. His research interests include studies in linguistics and biblical languages, biblical interpretation, and science and the Christian faith. He's written numerous books and commentaries on the bible, as well as a multitude of scholarly journals, and speaks at conferences on science and theology throughout the country.

Dr. Jay Sklar is Professor of Old Testament and Vice President of Academics at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Sklar is an ordained Teaching Elder in the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America), and being a native French speaker also teaches at the Faculte Jean Calvin in France annually. He's been teaching at Covenant for nearly 20 years and has served in the PCA in various capacities throughout. His research interests include the Bible's earliest books (mainly the Pentateuch) and the sacrificial-ceremonial system described throughout. He has numerous books and commentaries focused on Exodus through Numbers, with a specialty in Leviticus.

Andrew T. Walker (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is associate professor of Christian ethics at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and executive director of the Carl F. H. Henry Institute for Evangelical Engagement in Louisville, Kentucky. He previously served as senior fellow in Christian ethics at the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission. Walker is the author of God and the Transgender Debate, named the best book in public theology in 2017 by The Gospel Coalition, coauthor of Marriage Is: How Marriage Transforms Society and Cultivates Human Flourishing, and coeditor of the Gospel for Life series. Dr. A. Craig Troxel is the Professor of Practical Theology at Westminster Seminary California in Escondido, CA. He is an ordained minister in the OPC (Orthodox Presbyterian Church) and served as a full-time minister of the gospel for 2 congregations spanning 25 years. He took up the call at Westminster Seminary in 2019, in order to train other members to faithfully proclaim the gospel, and actively serves in local NAPARC (North American Presbyterian and Reformed Churches) churches. His interests lie in Puritan experiential preaching, systematic theology, and ecclesiology (the study of the Church), as well as equipping future ministers of the word. He's written many articles on the church, and a couple of books focusing on the heart.
