Frances talked about bringing other people's perspective during an interview to highlight your personal strengths. Her experience as a keynote speaker and business owner allows her to help women succeed. This is an episode that every woman should listen to because it allows for simple changes that reap hefty benefits.

In this episode, I interviewed David Pena Jr. David is the President, Colleges, and Universities of ALPFA ( Association of Latino Professionals For America). ALPFA is a Latino made association for students of all majors. They create tools and resources for Latinos in College by connecting students with internships and guiding career pathways. David believes building your network in college is the foundation for starting your career.

In this Episode of the podcast, I talk about the importance of job shadowing.  Many students don’t know what they want to do after graduation and I often get asked what is the best strategy to find out? In my opinion, the ultimate way is to job shadow and spend a day in the life of any career you might be interested in. This is a lot like speed dating. This will allow you to test different industries, roles, and companies without any major commitment. From there you have an idea of what you prefer and your able to specify what type of internship you want.
