The Entheogenic Evolution
Martin W. Ball
Welcome to the Entheogenic Evolution Podcast, hosted by author Martin W. Ball, Ph.D. This podcast is dedicated to the discussion of the nondual and unitary nature of being as revealed by conscious entheogenic energetic awakening as well as hosting long-form conversations on diverse and broad topics in psychedelics, therapy, philosophy, science, and culture. Featuring interviews, lectures, and conversations with leading figures in psychedelic research and culture as well as those who are new to the space and just starting to articulate their public voice, this podcast is a pioneering source of diverse information and perspectives. The Entheogenic Evolution Podcast is one of the longest running podcasts on psychedelics, having been first established in 2008, and has been a leading source of information about 5-MeO-DMT since its inception. Given the long history of the podcast, guests and topics serve as indicators of where psychedelic culture is changing and growing as psychedelics become more accepted in the mainstream. In addition to interviews and talks, host, Martin Ball, also shares selections from his many audiobooks, recordings from events and conferences he's organized, and shares his own original music at the conclusion of each episode and his original art for cover images. You can support this podcast by joining up as a contributing member at Patreon.com/martinwball. Martin is also available for individual consultations, mentorship, and integration work for clients in need of reflection and support. His original books are available in paperback, ebook, and audiobooks, and focus on nonduality and 5-MeO-DMT.

Episode 357: Shrooms Cafe with Mike Kirkwood
This week I've got another new addition to my "Psychedelic Oregon" series with Mike Kirkwood, proprietor of Shrooms Cafe, right here in my hometown of Ashland, Oregon. At this unconventional cafe, paying members can partake of low doses of psilocybin mushrooms, as allowed in the Oregon Psilocybin Program, and then stick around and enjoy a social event or musical performance. Mike and I talked all about it, and also dug into the history of psychedelic culture in Ashland/Southern Oregon. Here's our conversation ...

Before starting in with volume three of Tales of Aurduin, The Alchemist and the Eagle, I thought we'd take a fun, cheeky diversion into my quirky (and short) audiobook of God's Handbook for Operating Human Vehicles - A No-nonsense, No Strings Attached Approach to Universal Being (also available in full-color fractal art print and ebook versions). I've broken it up into two parts. Here's Part I, and Part II will come after the next interview and then we'll return to Orobai, Miraanni, and all the heroes of Aurduin with volume III.

Episode 351: Psychedelic Injustice with Tom Hatsis
Tom Hatsis has just released his latest book, Psychedelic Injustice: How Identity Politics Poisons the Psychedelic Renaissance, and he joined me for a detailed conversation about it last week. In this book, Tom takes a critical eye on various ways that the "culture wars" have impacted the contemporary psychedelic movement where, in his assessment, narratives and ideologies have created divisiveness, lack of historical accuracy, and promoted over-simplified notions of truth and power to the detriment of psychedelic culture. As usual, Tom comes with detailed research, carefully curated references, and is willing to ask uncomfortable questions to find clarity.

Episode 349: Coming out of the Psychedelic Closet and Taming Your Money Monster with Doug Lynam
This week I've got returning guest, Doug Lynam, joining me on the podcast to talk about his new book, Taming Your Money Monster: 9 Paths to Money Mastery with the Enneagram. Despite his wishes, Doug's publisher edited out all references to both Doug's personal psychedelic experiences and how they brought growth and maturity to his relationship with money, but also a chapter he'd originally included about the psychedelic history of the Enneagram. To counter this editing, Doug requested that we do a "coming out of the psychedelic closet" interview on the podcast to coincide with the release of the new book, and here it is!
