It was a trip to Kyoto in 2008 that led Vicky Tsai, Founder of Tatcha, to create a skincare brand based on Japanese beauty rituals. Vicky became so inspired by the beauty secrets and rituals of Japanese culture that she saw firsthand and how this was healing her dermatitis, so she left her job and started creating.
