Shit Out of Luck: The Capture of The Unabomber

Theodore John Kaczynski, also known as the Unabomber, is an American domestic terrorist, primitivist and former mathematics professor. He was a mathematics prodigy, but abandoned his academic career in 1969 to pursue a more primitive life. Between 1978 and 1995, he killed three people and injured 23 others in a nationwide bombing campaign against people he believed to be advancing modern technology and the destruction of the environment. He issued a social critique opposing industrialization and advocating a nature-centered form of anarchism. This video is sponsored by PodDecks: Use Code TCNS for 10% off. https://powered-by-pod-decks.peachs.co/a/lawrence-leaseFollow us on Twitter: www.twitter.com/truecrimensLike Us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/truecrimeneversleepspodcastSupport Us By Buying Us a Coffee: www.buymeacoffee.com/tcnsSend us a tip at www.streamlabs.com/truecrimeneversleepsSOURCEShttps://www.baltimoresun.com/news/bs-xpm-1996-04-07-1996098026-story.htmlhttps://www.nytimes.com/1996/04/05/us/suspect-s-trail-investigation-long-twisting-trail-led-unabom-suspect-s-arrest.htmlhttp://www.bop.gov/iloc2/InmateFinderServlet?Transaction=IDSearch&needingMoreList=false&IDType=IRN&IDNumber=04475-046Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/true-crime-never-sleeps/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Shit Out of Luck: The Menendez Brothers

Lyle and Erik are American brothers who were convicted in 1996 for the 1989 shotgun murders of their abusive and negligent parents, LIVE Entertainment executive José Menéndez and his wife Mary ("Kitty"). During the trial, the brothers alleged that they committed the murders in response to years of sexual and emotional abuse they suffered at the hands of their parents, particularly their father. They were first tried separately, with one jury for each brother. Both juries deadlocked, which resulted in a mistrial. For the second trial, they were tried together by the same jury, which found them guilty; as a result, they were sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. This video is sponsored by PodDecks: Use Code TCNS for 10% off. https://powered-by-pod-decks.peachs.co/a/lawrence-leaseFollow us on Twitter: www.twitter.com/truecrimensLike Us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/truecrimeneversleepspodcastSupport Us By Buying Us a Coffee: www.buymeacoffee.com/tcnsSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/true-crime-never-sleeps/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

The American Dyatlov Case

This is a story of an unsolved death of 4 men in Yuba county. One of them is still missing and very likely the police will never find him. Today’s episode was the story of Jack Huett, William Sterling, Jack Madruga, Theodore Weiher, and Gary Mathias. The men were part of a basketball team that was going to play the Special Olympics. The release the tension, they attended a basketball game, but never came back home…The unsolved death of the men will be in history forever. The event of 1978 is still unsolved…In this episode I dove deep into 5 segments of this sad story: background information, the disappearance, the investigation, the appearance of the bodies + evidence, and the theory on the murder. In conclusion, it is to believe that one of the men died, and they all decided to leave the place without leaving traces that they have been there. However, everything went south and they ended up dead of missing forever (very likely, dead). This video is sponsored by PodDecks: Use Code TCNS for 10% off. https://powered-by-pod-decks.peachs.co/a/lawrence-leaseFollow us on Twitter: www.twitter.com/truecrimensLike Us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/truecrimeneversleepspodcastSupport Us By Buying Us a Coffee: www.buymeacoffee.com/tcnsSOURCEShttps://www.reddit.com/r/UnresolvedMysteries/comments/6ni625/the_american_dyatlov_pass_five_young_men_abandon/https://www.sacbee.com/news/local/crime/article226544615.htmlhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWT3FxsEexISupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/true-crime-never-sleeps/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
