[448] Jacksonville Jaguars Post Game – Detroit Lions Podcast Reacts

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Ash are back to react to the result of the Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars game. Lions win celebration? Detroit Lions loss therapy? We’re always ready for whatever comes, and we’re here to help you along the way. The biggest question facing the Lions and Detroit Lions fans, does the return of Jameson Williams signal the start of a Lions run to the playoffs? This game will be the decider on whether the Detroit Lions remain in the hunt for that wildcard playoff opportunity. Detroit Lions Podcast Reacts The Detroit Lions offense needs to take advantage of the weaknesses that can be found on the Jaguars defense. Jacksonville Jaguars are weak against the pass over the middle, at one outside cornerback and the nickle corner position. If the Lions can get Jameson Williams lined up against the Jags Montaric Brown, magic could happen very quickly. Amon Ra St Brown should have some great opportunities over the middle as well. This is going to be a game that hinges on the ability of the Detroit Lions offense to score. They put up the points, and they’ll walk away winners this week. On the Defensive side of the ball, the Lions have Jeff Okudah, Romeo Okwara, and Josh Paschal returning to the team from injuries, and just as other teams are feeling the pain of injuries, the Detroit Lions are starting to get healthy. If the Lions defense can play the way they have the last few weeks and Aidan Hutchinson and and Alim McNeil can continue their strong run, the Detroit Lions have a great opportunity to shut down the Jacksonville Jaguars offense. Of course, the Jacksonville Jaguars are getting paid as well, and they’ll have a say in the outcome of this game. One can’t look past the Jags, as they are also a team on the rise and one that should be taken seriously. Its going to be an awesome show, so buckle up! Speaking of “buckle up”, make sure to head over to our project with Detroit Lions shutdown cornerback Jerry Jacobs to help charities in Detroit. [446] Detroit Lions Playing Both Sides – Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Jeff are back like Thanksgiving leftovers. With a 10-day break the Lions have time to recover from some injuries, get ready for the Jacksonville Jaguars, clean up a few things, and push to the end of the season. Is it over? Nope, not technically. The Lions could do it, but it is definitely going to be a tough road to get to the NFL playoffs. Detroit Lions Podcast Ready For Final Push Of The 2022 NFL Season We need to have a quick conversation about the game against the Buffalo Bills. The Lions were in a game against a potential Super Bowl contender until the very end only to have their hopes dashed in spectacular fashion. The national media is praising the Detroit Lions for the progress they have made and the local media and fans are just not having it. There is a lot of criticism of this team, yet they continue to play at an above-expected level for this point in the rebuild. There is more to be written on the Detroit Lions season, and it will be interesting to see how a world of people who predicted no more than 6 wins reacts to a 7 or 8 win season… We will also discuss whether we will see Jameson Williams and what his potential return looks like, discuss Jared Goff’s performance against the Buffalo Bills, talk playoffs, and preview the Jacksonville Jaguars. Its going to be a great game, and its going to be an awesome show, so buckle up! [444] New York Giants Post Game – Detroit Lions Podcast Reacts

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Sandman are back to react to the result of the Detroit Lions and New York Giants game. Lions win celebration? Detroit Lions loss therapy? We’re always ready for whatever comes, and we’re here to help you along the way. Detroit Lions Podcast Reacts The New York Giants are performing at a level that no one predicted this year. People are throwing around words like, “fraud”, “unsustainable”, and “pretenders”. No matter the pejoratives people choose to use, the New Your Giants have a 7-2 record heading into their game against the Detroit Lions. They’ve ridden the strength of their defensive front and cornerback play to that record, and we’ll discuss how the Detroit Lions offensive line stood up to the test. Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley, and Darius Slayton will be putting the Detroit Lions defense to the test. The New York Giants key vulnerabilities are at linebacker, safety and at the slot corner position, so we’ll see if the Detroit Lions offense was able capitalize in the middle of the field at Met Life stadium. Jared Goff will likely be leaning on Brock Wright, Jamaal Williams, D’Andre Swift, and Shane Zylstra to move the ball. With the potential return of DJ Chark, the Lions might be able to put the Giants safeties to the test deep as well. Coming off of a two win streak, the Detroit Lions are riding high hoping to put a third win in the bag. A win against the New York Giants would put the Lions in 2nd place in the NFC north, something considered inconceivable three weeks ago. This is a signature game for Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions organization. Its going to be an awesome show, so buckle up! Speaking of “buckle up”, make sure to head over to our project with Detroit Lions shutdown cornerback Jerry Jacobs to help charities in Detroit. Lions fans are looking for their third win in a row from Dan Campbell’s Detroit Lions which would be the first time they’ve achieved that feat in 5 years. The New York Giants have been found new life behind the legs of running back Saquon Barkley and quarterback Daniel Jones. [442] Detroit Lions Take Two In A Row – Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Jeff are back like a pair of Lions divisional wins to talk about another Lions victory week! As we know, the Detroit Lions put a second win in a row in the bag by topping the Chicago Bears on Sunday to bring their divisional record over.500. Detroit Lions Podcast Laps Up Chicago Bears Fan Tears The Chicago Bears proved that the “meathead” title belongs in the windy city after their reaction to the home loss against the Detroit Lions this week. They made all of the mistakes that the Lions typically do and let a 14 point lead slip through their fingers. As a fan, I get it, but tough toenails kids. This is where your Bears are, eat it. After celebrating that win, we start discussing how the Detroit Lions Defense has evolved. What has changed schematically, what’s changed from a personnel perspective, and what do these changes mean to the defense and broader team in practice? There may be a redemption arc on the defensive side of the ball, definitely something to keep an eye on. Dan Campbell’s coaching message seems to be landing with the players, and fans are starting to hop back on the train. It was a treacherous time in Detroit Lions land after that loss to the Patriots, but as we mentioned earlier, winning fixes everything. Fans are certainly hungry for more! We’ll talk about Aubrey Pleasant’s new job with the Green Bay Packers, and provide our first preview of the Detroit Lions game against the New York Giants at Meadowlands Stadium. Its an chance to seal the idea that the Lions are up to something good. Past teams would have choked on this opportunity, can Dan Campbell’s Detroit Lions seize the day? Detroit Lions vs. New York Giants – its going to be a big one. Also, its going to be an awesome show, so buckle up! Welcome to the Detroit Lions Podcast! In our first look at the 2023 NFL Draft, Scott Bischoff provides an early evaluation of potential Detroit Lions quarterback picks in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Lions have all the “ammo” they need to move into position to grab the player of their dreams. Is he there this year? Does he exist? [440] Chicago Bears Post Game – Detroit Lions Podcast Reacts

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Sandman are back to react to the result of the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears game. Lions win celebration? Detroit Lions loss therapy? We’re always ready for whatever comes, and we’re here to help you along the way. Detroit Lions Podcast Reacts The Chicago Bears seem to have finally realized that Justin Fields is much more dangerous on the ground than via the air. Once the started designing the offense around Justin Fields as a dual threat, they started finding success in the NFL. This feels like a good week to start mixing in Justin Fields arm with his ground game and frustrating the Detroit Lions game plan. There’s no guarantee that Justin Fields can execute an NFL-caliber passing attack, and the Detroit Lions are looking to prove that he can’t. With the return of Jerry Jacobs across the field from Jeff Okudah, and Kerby Joseph rising fast, the Detroit Lions have new found trust in their secondary that didn’t exist earlier in the year. Josh Paschal and John Cominsky returning from injury have bolstered the Detroit Lions defensive line to a level of play it hasn’t been able to achieve until recently. The tale of this game is going to revolve around the play of Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions offense. The Lions offense has been maddening in its inconsistency this year. A lot of that can be attributed to a string of injuries, but the Detroit Lions need to see “Goo Jared Goff” this week at Soldier Field if they have any hope of victory. Its going to be an awesome show, so buckle up! Speaking of “buckle up”, make sure to head over to our project with Detroit Lions shutdown cornerback Jerry Jacobs to help charities in Detroit.
