Episode 293: Strange Planet  Scratch at knowledge and invariably a mystery lurks just beneath the surface. It’s his indefatigable and passionate pursuit of these mysteries, his insatiable curiosity of the world around him and his unique and finely tuned storytelling abilities that have earned Richard Syrett the moniker, Canada’s Art Bell. And on Friday April 24th, 2009, Richard guest-hosted Coast to Coast filling in for George Noory. First, foremost, and always a broadcaster. Richard’s writing, story-telling, and interviewing skills, infectious enthusiasm and the ability to stare down chaos and confusion with a smile make Richard a rare and valuable media commodity. He has been producing fresh, compelling and provocative talk radio in Toronto, North America’s fourth largest market, for nearly 20 years. After graduating top of his class from Centennial College’s Radio and Television Program in 1992 he began working almost immediately at one of North America’s blowtorch stations, the legendary CFRB AM 1010. He received his “doctorate” in broadcasting working as the producer for such talk show legends as Larry Solway, Ed Needham, the late Brian Linehan, Andy Barrie, John Oakley, Michael Coren, Jim Richards and Spider Jones. In 1999 he took over the microphone for the first time with his own talk show and by 2000, his arcane Sunday night program examining political intrigue, the dark side of geo-politics, cover-ups, corruption, alternative energy, alternative health and unexplained phenomenon, had become an appointment tune. In 2003, his special brand of talk was chronicled on the front page of The Globe and Mail’s Review section (Canada’s national newspaper) and that spring his show earned a 13 share in Toronto’s very competitive market. Later in 2003, Richard left CFRB for cross-town rival, AM 640 to build and produce an edgy, funny new morning show and continue his own unique show on Friday nights. The show continued to be a ratings grabber, drawing a larger audience than the stations’ hockey broadcasts of the city’s beloved Maple Leafs. Richard was lured back to CFRB in early 2007 to host five nights a week. Over its two year The Mighty Aphroditerun, it garnered a dedicated, even zealous, following. He consistently beat his rival in the market, the behemoth Coast to Coast by as much as 2 share points. When Richard’s show was suddenly and unexpectedly cut from CFRB’s line-up as part of a ‘corporate reorganizing’ Richard’s devoted listeners organized and staged a rally outside the radio station in minus 30 degree weather! Despite being off the air, his past, archived RB shows continue to be downloaded from his website. One of his last shows in December of 2008 has been downloaded in excess of 31,000 times. Richard has obviously struck a chord with a huge market and has become the new voice of alternative talk radio. Richard is not, however, a one-note wonder. As a whimsical impressionist, he had created followings for his fictitious characters during his morning show producing stint and he is recognized for his political acuity. Richard resides in Unionville, Ontario with his Mighty Aphrodite and their twin boys.

Episode 292: Halloween Extravaganza  Robert Murch is the world’s foremost collector, historian, and expert on Ouija and Talking Boards and serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Talking Board Historical Society which he founded. His bizarre relationship with Ouija began after watching Kevin Tenney’s Witchboard in 1986, a century after the talking board made its debut. Murch purchased his first antique Ouija board in 1992 and became obsessed with unraveling the mystery of its origins. Since then he’s devoted his life to researching the history of the Ouija board and its founders, with Murch often traveling the world to track down descendants of all those involved with the introduction of the mystifying oracle. He was named guest curator of the Baltimore Museum of Industry’s groundbreaking Ouija exhibit Let the Spirit Move You, often collaborates with the Strong – The National Museum of Play, The British Library, and through the Talking Board Historical Society, organized OuijaCon 2015 which celebrated Ouija’s 125th Anniversary with the city of Baltimore. On behalf of the Talking Board Historical Society he co-curated the San Francisco Airport’s “The Mysterious Talking Board: Ouija and Beyond” exhibit and turned his home into a Ouija and Talking Board Museum fulfilling a lifelong dream. Today Murch is working with Nick Groff and Elizabeth Saint on the definitive Ouija docuseries “Board to Death: The Secret History of the World’s Most Terrifying Game” and he’s currently collaborating with the Talking Board Historical Society to create the ultimate talking board coffee table book.

Episode 291: The Next Wave  One on one with Dr. Paul Cottrell on topics such as: Should you wear a mask? Dr. Fauci & Vaccines & so much more. Dr. Paul Cottrell is a researcher in chaos theory and has interests in modeling financial markets.  Some have considered him a  polymath of sorts.  Born in Detroit, Michigan he has extensive  professional experience in engineering and design.  After retiring from  automotive engineering, he pursued interests in corporate finance  involving the publishing, retail, and non-profit industries.  He  currently is a proprietary trader specializing in currency and energy  markets.

Episode 290: The Freight Train Jim Fetzer is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and has published extensively in the philosophy of science. Jim has edited three books on the death of JFK which include Assassination Science, Murder in Dealey Plaza, and The Great Zapruder Film. A veteran of the program, Jim made his return to talk about all current events, and even some we both regret talking about. *nevermind the audio clipping*

Episode 289: Luke Prophet Saga Luke Prophet joined the program and discussed the end times and COVID-19, what he sees in the future and what you should be prepared for. Luke is a retired mathematician and a Watchman on the Wall.  For the past several years, he has been deciphering the Revelation prophecy on the End Times using Holy Gematria.

Episode 288: A Secret Space Program  Jo Ann Richards is the Executive Director of the educational non-profit, Earth Defense Headquarters (www.edhca.org). Her husband, Mark Richards, and his father, Ellis Loyd Richards, were involved with top-level military intelligence operations since World War II, many including on-world and off-world contact and battles with various alien species. Jo Ann’s roommate at the time had a husband in prison, and Jo Ann would sometimes accompany her to visit him in prison. Her friend said she knew of a genuinely nice ex-military guy named Mark Richards doing time at the same facility, and the two were soon introduced. Jo Ann speaks about her knowledge of military operations and secret meetings that both these men were involved with. She shares information about numerous alien species, the secret space fleet, and battles with aliens on-and off-world.

Episode 287: The United States Of COVID Dr. Paul Cottrell joined the program to discuss all the latest in covid-19 & the president. It's no secret by now there's an obvious agenda that is currently underway. America follows in the footsteps of China. New smart city upgrades will be here by next year.
