She has always been a self-described “nerd,” which helped her to pursue a Ph.D. in chemistry. After a post-doc at National Laboratories, she became an R&D group manager at a small company in Silicon Valley. Recently, she co-founded a tech company and has been working as a CEO. She has always loved to figure out how things worked in the technical sense, but has also loved to work with people whenever she was not running an instrument. For that reason, she became a coach and co-founded Daisuki-Coaching, and has been coaching women/men in the tech/science field to move forward in their careers. Daisuki = “I love” in Japanese :)
