Today we talk with Shelley Komoszewski, a dear friend of Erin's, about her 17-year-old daughter, Emily. On December 2, 2021 Emily passed away after experiencing a heart arrhythmia just a few short days before. Shelley shares as only a mother can about Emily and her testimony of loving Jesus, loving people, and living in a way that pointed others to Him. Shelley's steadfast faith and honesty in the midst of great suffering and grieving is nothing short of inspiring. This episode shows that tears and great joy can exist together. Erika Bachiochi, a fellow at the Ethics in Public Policy Center and author of the book Rights of Women: Reclaiming a Lost Vision, is a legal scholar who shares her insightful thoughts on pro-life ethics and femininity. When Erika was in college, she considered herself to be a socialist and feminist. While Erika's views have changed significantly over the years, she still calls herself a feminist, but now she is a pro-life feminist with a Christian worldview. Lila Rose founded Live Action, a pro-life media organization, as a teenager after she was exposed to the heartache of abortion. Sayeh was a little girl when the Iranian Revolution in the 1970s took place. With her father being a high-ranking official in the Iranian government, Sayeh's mother recognized that their family was in danger of being harmed and they fled to America. Sayeh shares the many miracles that led to them being able to flee Iran and how she came to know Jesus. Sayeh is currently in the Colson Fellows program and she shares with us about the tremendous impact it is having on her life.
