After being raised on the mission field of Hong Kong, she began her journey teaching grade school in Australia, the Marshall Islands, Africa, and the Middle East. Debbie adopted both of her daughters from China while teaching overseas. Upon moving to the United States, Debbie continued teaching in Washington state until her recent retirement.
