The Strong Women Podcast
Colson Center
In our culture, if a woman is said to have strength it usually means she is competing with a man or acting like a man.
What if there is strength in the way God made us, as women?
There is and we recognize it when we see it.
We are excited to introduce you to women who display true strength, not in spite of being women but because of it.

S2 51: Compelled to Action With Emily Long
Emily Long felt called to action in her local public school when she noticed that the dress code had been changed. While that didn’t seem like an issue at first, she felt compelled to ask questions of the school board and discovered that several things needed to be addressed around issues of gender and that others were concerned, too. Even though it cost her greatly, Emily showed great courage in taking a stand and inspires us to rise to the occasions God puts before us.
