Josephine McCarthy has been active in magic for 35 years and teaching/writing for 20 years. She works within the Western Mystery Tradition with particular emphasis on visionary Kabbalistic forms. These days She works with a small group of magicians and spends most of her magical time writing and working on creative programs with her partner, Artist Stuart Littlejohn. Her books include the Magical Knowledge Series, The Exorcists Handbook, and her esoteric novel the Last Scabbard. She has a book coming out in the summer with Mandrake of Oxford Press, that will focus in detail on magic of the land and the body. She is also a mother, grandmother, a wife and a cat herder.

Andrieh Vitimus and Jason M. Colwell welcome Nicholaj de Mattos Frisvold to the show to discuss his book, Obeah A Sorcerous Ossuary. Nicholaj de Mattos Frisvold is an anthropologist and psychologist who over the course of the last fifteen years been studying, both academically and practically, African and Afro-derived cults in the New World. This has led to a multiplicity of initiations into Vodou, both from Benin and Haiti, Santeria, Kimbanda, Palo Mayombe and Ifá. He makes part of the council of elders in the Ogboni society of Abeokuta, Nigeria.

Ivo Dominguez, Jr. is a visionary, and a practitioner of a variety of esoteric disciplines. He has been active in Wicca and the Pagan community since 1978, has been teaching since 1982. Ivo was a founding member of Keepers of the Holly Chalice, the first coven of The Assembly of the Sacred Wheel a Wiccan Tradition. He currently serves as one of the Elders of the Assembly of The Sacred Wheel, a Wiccan syncretic tradition that draws inspiration from Astrology, Qabala, the Western Magickal Tradition and the folk religions of Europe. His techniques and insights are rooted in a synthesis of traditional metaphysical teachings, modern science, and memories from past lives. He has taught at many gatherings, conferences, and venues across the United States. Ivo is also a professional astrologer who has studied astrology since 1980 and has been offering consultations and readings since 1988. Daniel Harms joins Andrieh Vitimus and Jason M. Colwell to talk about a uniquely American grimoire, The Long Lost Friend. Originally published near Reading, PA, The Long Lost Friend has had a impact on folk magic and conjure in Northeast. Daniel Harms is a librarian and the author of the Cthulhu Mythos Encyclopedia, and, with John Wisdom Gonce III, The Necronomicon Files. Jason Miller (Rev. Inominandum) has devoted the last 20 years to studying Witchcraft and Magick in its many forms. He has traveled to and lived in New Orleans to study Hoodoo, in Europe to study Witchcraft, and in Nepal to study tantra. Miller is a member of the Chthonic Ouranian Temple, the Ordo Templi Orientis and the Sangreal Sodality, as well as an initiated Tantrika in the Nyingma and Bon lineages of Tibet. He is a regular contributor to Behutet, a journal of Magick. Miller lives with his wife on the New Jersey shore, where he practices and teaches Magick professionally.

Andrieh Vitimus and Jason Colwell welcome Michael W. Ford to talk about Luciferian tradition and the Gods of Canaan through that lense. Author, musician and visionary of the Luciferian tradition Michael W. Ford. MICHAEL W. FORD has been a practicing Luciferian and Satanist/Sethanist for over 16 years. Mr. Ford’s path has led him through an initiatory system which has both inspired and changed the life for many individuals. Originally focused on obscure, “hit and run” left hand path booklets Ford’s approach to magick was from a luciferian point of view. Soon after, the demand for his works sky rocketed and Luciferian Witchcraft was published. Soon after, the obscure and hard to get published “Book of the Witch Moon” was published in a final edited edition to numerous acclaim. With the further development of THE ORDER OF PHOSPHORUS, Ford understood his role was changing and he would have to adapt from solitary practitioner to someone who could explain a growing ideology which is totally separate from Judeo-Christian and modern ceremonial magick structures. The Bible of the Adversary drew together the trans-cultural perspective of the various aspects of the luciferian spirit, utilizing various workings which would allow the adept to enter the depths of darkness and ascend with the wisdom gained from it. Michael W. Ford lists Charles Pace as one of his primary sources of inspiration, he is writing an Egyptian-Sethanic ritual book and basic biography of Pace and his works currently. In addition, Ford mentions Austin Osman Spare, Kenneth Grant, Anton Szandor Lavey, Nietzsche and Aleister Crowley as basic “teachers” and adds there are many others. Michael continues his spiritual workings, development of luciferianism and has a deep interest in the authenticity of ritual practice from the ancient near east with Canaanite, Egyptian, Persian, Babylonian, Assyrian and Sumerian with a foundation of Hellenic-Greek gods. Ford approaches the practice of magick from historical and mythological, temple and cult records of the Hellenic, Egyptian and Ancient Near Eastern ritual texts noting that this is the pure source for initiation with the gods and daemons of pre-christian religion.
