Your boys are back amid trying times!
Sean discusses the political mood in LA and Parker has thoughts on a TV show that he feels invented the modern Youtube aesthetic. Then it's time for a July movie preview. Summer season is in full swing as we discuss Jurassic Park, Superman, the Fantastic Four and Tyler Perry's Madea!
Next, we discuss a strange slasher movie where a group of students trek up a mountain looking for ancient artifacts and instead find a cult of millenium-worshipping druids, metal bikers and mysterious natives. It "stars" Michelle Bauer and George "Buck" Flower, among other JFD faves.

JFD687: Fiend, Ski School, Heartbreaker: With Love from a Bullet
Junk Food Dinner returns with three very random, very different films to wet your weird cinema whistle!Up first, low-budget Baltimore filmmaker Don Dohler brings us a tale of a reanimated corpse that moves into a suburban neighborhood and starts giving music lessons (and also killing people) in Fiend from 1980. Then, Dean Cameron stars in a classic slobs vs snobs tale set in a ski resort in Ski School from 1991. This R-rated comedy was a staple of late-night cable TV in the 90's but does it hold up? We find out. Finally, we get a rare look into the world of early 90's Japanese dance, fashion and music in the 1993 V-Cinema straight-to-video flick Heartbreaker: With Love from a Bullet. All this plus Final Destination chat, more Sinners chat, Kevin's adventures at the theater, Norm!, Looney Tunes blu-rays and so much more!

JFS80: Private Parts (1972)
Your boys are back this week to discuss the beach, Full Moon, and many other things.
In honor of Sabu, the iconic hardcore wrestler who just died, we watch his first ECW match and chat about how homicidal he was.
After that, we discuss the 1972 proto-slasher West Coast weirdo movie, "Private Parts" from 1972. It's not the Howard Stern, it was Paul Bartel's (Eating Raoul, Death Race 2000) first movie! In it, a girl visits her aunt in an old creepy hotel and runs afoul of the weird inhabitants.

Also! We chat about the best slasher movies that don't feature any of those famous slasher guys!
So #DonloydNow and enjoy this bite-sized Junk Food Supper. We got all this plus Bowman's non-lecherous lurking and window-spying, why aren't they playing Dracula Drops (for god's sake?), that new Letterboxd for Wrassling (dropkickd), old men complaining about the modern Internet, who's on our (and your) Mount Slashmores, sneezes, blank stares, gleeks and so much more!!
