Today, I decided to do a more casual and relaxed episode since I'm still a bit ill at the time of recording. I discuss my own experiences of the USA and some of the culture shocks I had during my 3-week trip there. I discuss these differences from my own point of view and how this is reflected in the language too.I should say, I feel like I sounded a bit negative towards America. As you might know, English isn't like how we find it in textbooks. I spoke about 14 TV shows to improve your British English in episode 22 of the podcast.Since then, I've got a lot of requests to make a Part 2. To be honest, I don't watch much TV so I struggle to make a good list. Of the TV series I do watch, many of them aren't good examples of British English (or even English in general, such as 'Vikings'!)My general advice is, rather than watching something that will improve your English, just watch something that you enjoy.
