Francois is an author most known for his current work, The Mirror Bible. In this interview, Francois talks about our Father's great affection, inclusion, grace, intimacy, ministry, and the unveiled revelation of love! He also shares some of his story and how he came to write The Mirror Bible.  The entire cosmos is the object of God’s affection! Derek & Sarah Turner / Jesus Is Perfect Theology

Derek and Sarah Turner, pastors of River Church Charlotte, share generously and candidly on the goodness of God, Jesus as perfect theology, reading scripture with a hermeneutic of Love, soul care, inclusion, rethinking our understanding of vengeance and wrath and the patient trusting journey into transformation. “It’s not about the quantity of faith but the placement of faith. In John 17 Jesus prayed that we would believe that our Father loved us as much as our Father loved Him. If we put our faith in anything, let’s put it in Jesus’ prayer being answered.”

Fear, COVID-19 and the Enneagram

We had Karen Clark on and talked about how to navigate fear in the midst of Covid19. We discussed the three triads of the Enneagram and how knowing our Enneagram number can help us healthily navigate fear. Karen shared that ultimately knowing the goodness of God is the foundation of navigating fear healthily; perfect love casts out fear. Thomas, Jason, and Karen talk about some of the fear-mongering theologies that are running rampant online.  When we understand who God is we understand that God didn’t send Covid19. God is not the instigator of death, He came to give us life and life more abundantly. Finally, they discussed how God is a good Father who is available to us now in the midst of our fear. A Father who weeps with us while also lifting us up so we can see our circumstances the way He does and live in peace.

Sovereign Love with Jason Clark

What if control is a flawed word to describe God’s sovereignty? What if there is an infinitely better word, a greater revelation, love! Jason and Thomas discuss the sovereignty of God and focus on Jason’s book, God Is Not In Control. God’s love is what defines His sovereignty. And God’s love is revealed through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. The idea’s that God is in control and God is good are often two opposing thoughts.  When we realize that God’s supreme power and authority are love…everything changes for the better.
